  • Don't Fly the Coop

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

Thank you so very much for you generous donations to our classroom. My students have loved hatching chick eggs over the last several weeks. We will be hatching duck eggs next and I cannot wait to see their excitement all over again.

Your donations will allow my students to observe the chicks and ducks growth through the clear enclosure.

This unit is something I plan to continue for many years to come! It has truly been one of their favorite experiences! Again, thank you! :-)”

    With gratitude,

  • Aspiring Architects!

    Funded Jun 26, 2023

My students love their new materials for our Block Center. They are enjoying building many different kinds of structures. They enjoy building houses, castles, stables, and stores. They are using their little imaginations and having so much fun! They are truly "Aspiring Architects!"

My students thought it was like Christmas morning when we received our new materials. They were so excited and thankful! They are very appreciative of your generosity!

The Block Center is one of their favorite centers in our classroom.

Thank you so much for donating these fun learning materials to our Kindergarten Classroom! :-)”

  • Whose Headphones?

    Funded May 4, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom so that my students could get new headphones. We had headphones that the school provided several years ago and they were beginning to break. My students were having a difficult time hearing while using their chromebooks. Headphones are a MUST when using chromebooks because there are times when all of the students are using them at the same time.

My students use their chromebooks throughout the day every day. During our ELA block they use them for Read to Self, ELA games (such as Teach Your Monster to Read), and IStation Reading. During our Math block they use them for rotations (abcya.com math games) and IStation Math. My students also use them for MAP Testing.

My students were super excited to receive the new headphones that WORK!! They made sure to let me know they could hear out of them! :-)

Again thank you for helping my students!! :-)”

  • Word Work to Go

    Funded Aug 19, 2022

Thank you for donating to this project! This project storage for my previously added fun and engaging materials to use during our ELA rotations. My students have loved being able to grab a container and go begin using their word work materials. When our rotation is over clean up is a breeze and they take their container back to the shelf. It makes picking out their work simple and cleanup is quick.

My students enjoy using the materials daily during our ELA Block. I am sure these materials will be beneficial to my students for many years to come.

Again, thank you for donating to my classroom! :-)”

  • Classroom Community Carpet

    Funded Jul 11, 2022

Thank you for your donations so that our class could have a "spot" to come to when we are all together for read alouds, discussions, or playing games. This carpet is exactly what I wanted to tie our space together. The kids love it!

This carpet is the perfect size for our classroom. Each child has their own "spot" to sit and it provides them with plenty of space while we are all together. I will have this carpet to hold students for many years.

Thank you so very much for donating to our 1st grade classroom! :-)”

  • Learning is "MOO" fun!

    Funded May 16, 2024

Thank you for donating to my "Learning is MOO fun" project. This project allowed me to have Kindergarten Binders ready to go on the first day of school for my new kinders. These binders house tools my students need to be successful at school and home. Students have a pencil pouch for sending notes and money to school so that it is not lost on the way. They have homework folders that house our HW Contract each week and any notes parents need to see from me or the school. The dividers will keep students organized with Poems, Word Lists, Passages and Math tools needed to help them be successful in and out of class.

Because of your generous donations these binders are put together and waiting on my class roster to be completed. Each student will have a binder waiting for them at their seat on the first day of school.

    Thank you! :-)”

  • Kindergarten Binders

    Funded May 6, 2023

Thank you for your donation to fund my Kindergarten Binders project! This project helped me have the materials needed to have my Homework Binders ready for my new kiddos on the first day of school.

The Kindergarten/Homework Binders help my students stay organized for school and home. Everything they need is all in one place. Parents can send documents and money in the pencil pouches so no important correspondence gets lost between home and school.

I have used binders for several years with my 1st grade students and it has helped them tremendously. I know that having binders for my new kinders will be just as beneficial to them!

Thank you for donating to our classroom! :-)”

  • Words, Words, Words!

    Funded Jun 4, 2022

Thank you for donating to this project! This project added fun and engaging materials to use during our ELA rotations. My students have loved using the new materials. They have been practicing build their sight words using the snap together letter blocks and double sided letter tiles. The building mats have been a huge hit as well.

These materials make learning how to spell words more fun and engaging than using pencil and paper. My students enjoy using the materials daily during our ELA Block. I am sure these materials will be beneficial to my students for many years to come.

Again, thank you for donating to my classroom! :-)”

  • Book Bins for Bookworms

    Funded Oct 30, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to this project! We have put the materials to good use. My students are able to find books with ease using the book bins. It is nice to have materials neatly organized and ready to go for my students!

Students start the week out with new books to read. These materials allowed books to be organized for students to "shop" for books each Friday. The book bins also allow them to return books to the correct spot each week. Our classroom library is now neatly organized and I love it!

Again, thank you so much for donating to our classroom. These materials will be used for years to come! :-)”
