Help Us Stock Our Staff Room!
Funded Mar 15, 2024Thanks so much for helping us get a die cut machine and dies for our staff room! This resource has saved a lot of labor making beautiful bulletin boards and has opened up new artistic possibilities. Because the die-cut is a heavy-duty model, we can even cut fabric and leather with it, enabling all kinds of mixed-media arts projects.
With the machine, we can make so many hands-on manipulatives to extend student learning. Teaching partitioning and fractions? Die cut shapes are a great way to practice, and the results make cool art projects! Working on counting by fives? Die cut handprints let every student make a poster showing how to count by fives to one hundred.”

Help Stock Our Staff Room!
Funded Dec 14, 2023Thanks so much for providing us with a die cut machine and plenty of dies! This new resource has been a boon to our school. Teachers no longer laboriously cut letters and shapes by hands for art projects. Moreover, we can use a much wider variety of materials, even leather, because the die cut machine is heavy-duty and can manage it.
When teachers can provide hands-on prep materials, students benefit. Want to demonstrate counting by fives? Give every student twenty hand die cuts and let them create posters demonstrating counting by fives to one hundred. Want to practice partitioning and fractions? Die cut shapes are the perfect way to do so. Thanks to donors like you, we can provide these fun learning experiences.”

Bookbinding and Paper Crafts for Brilliant Writers
Funded Dec 10, 2023Thanks so much for helping us get these resources! My class had a blast making individual and shared books, from drafting to editing to building to sharing! They even entered a collaborative poetry book into a city contest and won an award!
Our school district is facing an enormous budget deficit and there are few resources for arts education. It is so important to integrate the arts into every academic subject. Without the support of donors like you, my students would not benefit from these creative experiences.”

Books for Brilliant Readers
Funded May 25, 2024Thanks so much! I know that my incoming Kindergarten students will get hours of enjoyment and learning from these books. It is so important to provide young readers with books that interest and amaze them; it provides the motivation to learn to read and become a lifelong reader. These books will brighten our class library for years to come!”

Beads for Busy Fingers
Funded Jan 26, 2024Thanks so much for your generous gifts to our Kindergarten classrooms! These beads helped make celebrating the 120th day of school exciting. Students used the beads to create necklaces of 120 beads grouped in tens. We are now nearing the end of the school year and students are still wearing these necklaces with pride and showing off their counting skills to any audience! The classes also enjoy beading as a simple, relaxing choice time activity, and we've even used broken beads to add texture and color to collage projects!”

Help Stock Our Staff Room!
Funded Jan 26, 2024Thank you so much for helping stock our staff room with a die cut machine and dies! These have already been put to good use making bulletin boards, creating paper pattern blocks to explore shapes, fractions, and symmetry, and so many other uses.
Our school district is facing a four hundred million dollar deficit and we have experienced significant budget cuts already. Without the generosity of donors like you, we would not be able to provide students with the hands-on, engaging activities they deserve.”

Algorithms and Algebra in Kindergarten? Yes Please!
Funded Sep 22, 2023Thank you so much for the iPad and new Puzzlets! My students love to develop their coding and math skills using these games, and the hands-on Puzzlets make it easy for them to cooperate and discuss their plans rather than being engrossed in their own individual screen. Of course, sometimes we do need to practice on our own, and thanks to you we have enough tablets that a table of children can all refine their skills using engaging tools. Additionally, our school district has adopted online assessments this year. Because we have iPads in our classroom, students don't have to deal with the balky Chromebooks and their more difficult interface, so they can really show what they know!”

Getting Kindergarten Ready for Kindergartners!
Funded Nov 29, 2023Thanks so much for your generous gifts. These supplies will help get the classroom ready for next year's Kindergartners! One of the key skills we practice in Kindergarten is responsibility, and having individual crayon boxes and sets of supplies helps children take charge of their materials and keep them ready to use!
All of these supplies will help keep Kindergarten colorful, busy, and fun for young learners. We are expecting large budget cuts next year, and there won't be money for all the things children deserve without the generosity of donors like you.”

Funded Nov 8, 2023Thank you so much for providing these supplies to our Kindergarten students! We have already used the finger paint and finger paint people to create massive self-portraits. We have also used the sharpies to create bold outlines on painting projects and have plans to use them for enhancing our writing. And as we study the seasons and weather, we will be using the sun printing paper and translucent clay to create memorable projects that explore light and heat.
Our school district has instituted forty million dollars in mid-year cuts. There isn't any money for arts supplies, but thanks to donors like you, our students won't miss out.”

Funded Sep 1, 2023Thank you so much for providing a brand new, updated reading curriculum for my classroom. I love these new resources, which are all online for ease of planning and refining. And they're making a big difference for my students, who are eager to become fluent, lifelong readers.
Our school district just made forty million dollars in mid-year cuts and we are expecting a one hundred million dollar cut next year. There just isn't money for the best, most student-centered books and materials. Thanks to donors like you, we don't have to just make do but can offer students the experiences and lessons they deserve.”
