  • Trade Book Bonanza

    Funded Dec 20, 2024

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I am so excited to start sharing these books with my kids! They helped me unpack them today, and they are just as excited! Thank you so much for your donations that have allowed me to get these books for my kids. We will be using them for our reading groups as we get started with 2025. We are jumping in to biomes, the different families of animals, and plants, so these books will be a huge help to my kids as they explore these topics. I am so grateful to be able to have beautiful new books to share with them! Thanks again!”

  • Flashlight Fridays

    Funded Jul 19, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations! The flashlights and batteries have really made our DEAR time super fun for the kids and I. Our principal even joined us one week to read by flashlight! A love of reading is something that I strive to provide for my kids, and these flashlights help to give them something fun to tie to their reading. This helps create that love of reading and some enjoyable reading experiences that I hope they will carry with them to adulthood. Thank you so much again for your donations!”

  • Super School Supplies

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations! The cleaning supplies that were a part of this project have allowed my students to help clean up the classroom as part of our classroom jobs. They really enjoy using the dusting supplies especially! When it comes time to choose jobs, the dusting job is a hot commodity! This really helps me to keep our classroom clean and gives the kids a feeling of belonging in the classroom. It also helps out our custodians out, which allows for conversations about helping others. Thanks again!”

  • Materials Mania

    Funded Feb 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations! Using the materials from this project, I was able to create multiple new materials for my kiddos for this year already. The kids really love at the beginning of each month when I get out new materials for them to learn, and being able to make these new materials without personal cost to me takes so much stress away. I have stored the paper and laminating sheets in my classroom so that as I need them, I can use them. The kids enjoyed seeing me unbox these items and hearing me explain why I needed them. Thanks again!”

  • Super Snacks

    Funded Nov 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations! The kids and I really appreciate the snacks. We have used them when our the fruit and vegetable snack that our school provides has been hit or miss. The kids have really appreciated having something to eat to help keep their energy up throughout the morning. I have also been able to use some of the snacks during our Fun Fridays that the kids have earned. Each time I get our snack bins out, the kids get so excited to see what the new snacks are. Thank you so much for your donations!”

  • Clean Classroom

    Funded Sep 18, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations! Using the materials from this project, my kids and I are able to help keep our room clean. The kids really enjoy doing their classroom jobs to help be responsible for our classroom environment, and the materials from this project allow them to do that each day. The kids get very excited when we get a box, and when they helped me open the cleaning supplies, we were able to use them right away. Our custodial staff has been very complementary of how our classroom looks, and the kids and I are very proud! Thanks again!”

  • Beginning Anew

    Funded Jun 16, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations! I am so excited to share these craft materials with the kids for the start of this year. They really enjoy using these types of art projects to get to know each other, and it gives me time to get to know different aspects of them as well. I am excited to see what kinds of things the kids will create with these supplies, and I can't wait to share the projects that they will complete with their families. The first week of school will be great, and these materials will help us get there! Thanks again!”

  • Sensational Snacks

    Funded Jun 20, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations!! I am so excited to share these snacks with the kiddos when we get back to school in August. These snacks will help the kids be able to transition from being able to eat throughout the day during the summer to having a more set schedule of lunch at a certain time. This will be especially helpful since we are moving to a new school and a new classroom, and the kids will be dealing with those transitions as well. These snacks will be able to help support my kids as we start the new year, and I am so grateful for your donations!”

  • Prize Box Mania

    Funded Feb 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project. It really helped my kids have a positive end of the year and be able to continue with their learning as the weather got warmer. My assistant and I were able to use the prize box to reward positive behavior that we wanted to see in all the students, which motivated other students to exhibit that positive behavior as well. We were able to continue learning all the way until the very end of the school year because our students were motivated. Thanks again!”

  • March Madness

    Funded Mar 7, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations! My kids and I loved using these materials during the month of March. We had so much fun using these materials to study and go in depth into March Madness. I had a kiddo who got so excited to help me open boxes and pass things out to the other kids. We had a really great month using these materials. We were able to really celebrate all the learning that the kids had done so far for the year and continue with some deeper learning using our March Madness materials. Thanks again!”

My students are first, second, and third graders in an inner city school. All of them are on free and reduced lunch, and many of them come from broken homes. These kids come to school with so much on their minds from home that it is a wonder that they can even learn at all. I believe that with support and love that every kid can learn, which is why I teach where I do. I believe that these kids need more than their share of support and love, and myself and the other staff members at my school can give that to them. With that said though, sometimes the supports that my kiddos need requires money that neither my school nor myself can manage at the moment. This is where you come in. With your monetary support, I can give my kids the educational supports that they need to thrive in a world that tells them they can't. Thank you for that!
