Fabulous First Graders Desperately Seeking Listening Center!

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom! The moment our new listening center arrived, my students were excited! Hearing a book read on tape has helped them to see how the words on the page can come alive in a fluid, expressive way. It helps them focus on the sounds of words read without interruption and provides a model of fluent reading. Our new listening center and audio books have also given my students an important introduction to listening — a skill that they must master in order to learn to read. Thank you so much for providing my students with this amazing opportunity.

I look forward to all that they will accomplish and seeing their reading and comprehensions skills increase.
