  • Learning From a Distance...Together!

    Funded Jun 24, 2020

Your generosity helps our classroom keep running during these unprecedented times. You are helping us be pioneers in education. You are helping me to provide continual access to learning for my students. Without your generosity, these students would not be able to continue their education. Thank you so very much”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Russo

  • Google Me This: Technology For Google Classroom Learning AND Sharing

    Funded Mar 26, 2019

It is hard to put into words the impact the chromebooks have had on my classroom. We use them on a daily basis whether in class or with individual students. Having this technology readily available for use with Google Classroom has changed the way we work. We are almost a paperless classroom, doing a majority of our writing online including group and collaborative work. We work more fluidly in groups and can more easily do revisions to our pieces. Almost every day, students come to me to ask to use a laptop to complete work for other classes. It's so nice to have the technology to offer them. I cannot thank you enough for your impact.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Russo

  • To The Internet...And Beyond! Classroom Chromebooks!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

It is hard to describe the impact the Chromebooks have made on my classroom as well as my colleagues. Our tenth grade students have been able to communicate with the world around them, to publish their work, to work collaboratively through Google Classroom and to research and open their minds. We are forever grateful. The books continue to impact my class this year and are used collaboratively in my inclusion and ICT classrooms to help make learning manageable to all students to in my room. Students are learning to do "live" Lear omg using google, editing and discussing documents in real time during class. It's amazing to watch as they take ownership of their learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Russo
