When I became a teacher, I imagined the perfect classroom, with the perfect students; however, that dream is far from reality. 65% of the students who walk through our school doors come from economically disadvantaged homes, and they are often ill-equipped socially, emotionally, and academically to be successful in the classroom. It is my honor to support students of all backgrounds in order to help develop them into productive, well-educated, and positive members of society.

About my class
