  • Things Are Getting Sticky in the Steam Lab!

    Funded Oct 1, 2024

    I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation in contributing to my project request. As a new STEAM teacher, my students work on hands on projects & activities each day. With 287 students weekly, we go through a lot of basic supplies, like tape. Having a solid supply of tape on hand really helps with the flow of the class as each small group is equipped with what they need and it prevents students from having to walk around the room to other groups to borrow materials, and students are busy working on their projects without having to stop and wait for an unavailable supply. Thank you for helping to make things great in class and for giving my students what they need!”

  • Building our Creativity in STEAM Class

    Thank you so much for funding my project! I am a brand new STEAM teacher and the LEGO sets will help immensely with every grade level I teach! So many engineering & design projects can be planned now that I have enough LEGO bricks for the class to work with.

    Since I received the package, the students have been so excited and anxious to get working with the Legos. I have used it as an incentive for students to stay on task, complete their work, and follow school rules. Students can now earn "Free Build Fridays" if they earn enough points during the week!

  • Keeping it Clean in the STEAM Lab!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation of cleaning supplies for my steam lab! Your contribution will help keep my classroom clean and germ free. My students were excited to see me open my package and take out all the supplies!

    I am so happy to have received my package, and because of the supplies I now have on hand, the room is cleaned daily and surfaces are wiped down in between classes. I am prepared for the cold season as I now have a sufficient supply of tissues and hand sanitizer on my counter for students to use.
