Art Supplies For All!
Funded Jan 27, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation. My first grade students were so excited to see the arts and craft pieces that we can build and create with.
They love school and do a great job all day. Using these materials it gives them the opportunity to be children and use their imaginations.
With the paint they will be able to do art and create masterpieces to be proud of. We are lucky enough to have an art teacher in our school but unfortunately my class does not have the chance to go to his room this year. These materials will allow them to experience art using different materials and mediums.
Thank you again for your generous donations and putting smiles on my students faces.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation to our class. On a daily basis children need references and activities to work on. Often times our school copy machine is down or we are unable to use it.
Having this printer/copier in my classroom makes it much easier to get the materials needed for our instruction.
The children are able to make copies of their work if they want to take it home to show their parents. I am able to make copies of notes that are needed and materials to have a successful day! Thank you again for your generous donation!”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation to my first grade class. These headphones are a game changer for assessments and daily work on the computer.
When students would work on the computer without headphones, it would be extremely noisy and distracting to students. This would cause grades to be compromised. These headphones allow students to work and remain focused on their work and only their work.
The microphone allows students to record themselves reading. This allows me to hear how they are reading on their own and allows them to also hear themselves read.
Again your generous donation has made my classroom run much more smoothly.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you so much for your amazing donation. My students would often have to crowd around me to see how I model math problems. This would often cause confusion and my students would struggle.
The document camera will allow me to model problems and writing for the entire class at the same time. This will help students visually see what we are working on and they will be able to follow along easily.
Using the document camera also makes a teachers job easier because I do not need to sit and take screen shots of activities often and I can just share the activity with students.
Thank you so much again for your generous donation!!!”

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Classroom Supporter.Dry Erase Boards for All!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you again for your generous donation to my class. These supplies will be used each day as my first graders become life long mathematicians and learners. These materials will make math more engaging and fun for my students.
The dry erase boards and markers will allow me to see my students work as they write with the lined side and show their mathematic thinking on the clear side.
The math boards will allow our math lessons to move smoother because students will not be required to draw number bonds since they are already there for them. Our lessons will flow much better and we will not focus on the concepts being taught instead of our set up time.
Thank you again for your generous donation. My students are so excited to get to work and learn more because of your donation!”

Funded Dec 30, 2021Thank you for your generous donation! When my students first saw the wobbly chair they were beyond excited. They loved seeing the colors of the chairs. They were so intrigued at the way the chairs allow them to move their bodies as they sit. While I am working with the students, they love to move their bodies. While I am meeting with their groups for small group instruction, I have noticed a huge difference in their focus and their engagement. They look forward to sitting with me during small group instruction to sit on the chairs.”

Funded Jan 1, 2021Thank you so much for your donation to my class project "TIME for kids Magazine!" This project will help all of my fully remote students this year. With your donation I am able to keep my students engaged and show them how to access news.
Using these magazines will allow my students time to read independently. It will also give them the chance to write about what they are reading. Using these magazines also gives students access to videos to explain what they are reading about.
Your donation has made it possible for me to give my first graders the chance to feel like they are a part of the world. It will show them the endless possibilities which may be difficult during these challenging times.”

Funded Jan 20, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donation. With these supplies my students will have the basic necessities they need to write, draw and learn each day for the rest of the year. The chart paper will give the students anchor charts they need to refer to throughout each module we teach. The students were so excited to see the boxes in the classroom. They took guesses as to what was in the boxes and then cheered as we opened it. They can not wait to use the supplies today and each day to come. Thank you again for your support!”

iPad & Osmo Learning Fun!
Funded Jan 27, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students eyes lit up with excitement when they saw the iPad on the Osmo activities to go along with it. Many students in my class are struggling readers. The iPad and Osmo activity games will give those readers the additional support needed to help them succeed in Reading. It will also help those students that are advanced. They can use it as an enrichment activity to further their studies in ela and math.
Working in a low-income area, many students do not have access to technology at home. If they do it's very limited and not educational games. With the osmo and the iPad they will be given the opportunity to use it in an educational way. It can be used individually, with a partner or even in a small group depending on the activity at hand.
When the students or the iPad they were beyond excited. They were even more excited to see the apps I was able to download for them. Many students are learning how to use the technology to advance them. Technology is the wave of the future and this will just help to keep them on track to succeed in this world we are living in today. Thank you again for your generous donation.”
