My students are bright, energetic kids who come from a variety of backgrounds. There are many parents who are single and work very hard to make a living, but cannot provide their little ones with books and literacy materials to support a love of reading. My school is a very collaborative community of professionals who go out of their way to ensure the needs of the kids are met at all times. Now that I am moving to this school, I want to ensure my students have the best access to literature I can give them. That is why I am looking to build a classroom library and reading space that will inspire and foster a love of reading.
