  • Reusable Water Bottles for a Sustainable and Healthy Third Grade

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

We are so excited and grateful for your generous support of our "Reusable Water Bottles for a Sustainable and Healthy Third Grade" project! Thanks to your kindness, every student in our class now has their very own reusable water bottle, helping us stay hydrated while also promoting sustainability in our classroom and beyond.

Your thoughtful donation is making a positive impact on our health and the environment. We no longer need to rely on disposable plastic bottles, which helps reduce waste and protect our planet. This small change is already teaching us valuable lessons about responsibility, sustainability, and the importance of taking care of our Earth.

Thank you for helping us take this step toward a healthier, more sustainable future. We appreciate your support in making our learning environment even better, and we promise to take good care of our new water bottles, using them every day as a reminder of your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Joann Detelj

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

On behalf of our entire classroom, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous donation to our "Clean Floors, Healthy Learners: iRoomba Robot for Our Classroom" project. Your support has made a tremendous impact on our learning environment, and we are so grateful for your kindness and commitment to our education.

With the iRoomba now part of our classroom, we are able to maintain a clean and safe space for all of our learners. The robot's ability to keep our floors tidy has allowed us to focus more on our studies, knowing that we have a healthier, distraction-free environment. It's one less thing for us to worry about, and it's already making a huge difference in our daily routine.

Thank you for believing in the power of a clean and healthy learning space. Your contribution not only supports our academic growth but also shows us the power of kindness and community. We will carry this lesson of generosity with us as we continue our educational journey.”

  • It's That Time of the Month!

    Funded Sep 26, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations for our hygiene project for our female students. Your generous donations have made what can be an uncomfortable situation for some young females a little bit more comfortable. The young ladies in our class know there is a separate location that they can just walk to and get a personal kit if needed. Your continued generosity has made it possible for my students to worry about one less issue when they come to school. Thank you again for helping support my classroom.”

    With gratitude,

  • Green Thumb?

    Funded May 21, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations to my class Green Thumb project. I can't even begin to describe the excitement my students share every time we open a package that says live plants on it! To say they are ecstatic is an understatement. Your donations have sparked a whole group of students who are now excited to learn about plants and the benefits of growing plants. Not only are my students learning about science but they are also learning how to become responsible, as they are now responsible for watering our plants. I can't thank you enough for this end of year learning experience.”

  • Whose Ready for Professional Development?

    Funded Apr 2, 2024

I can not begin to express how grateful I am for your donation to my professional development project for a laptop. I just received it and truly feel like a kid at Christmas! This was truly an unbelievable surprise to see when I received the email for funding, I almost felt as if it wasn't true. I started setting up my new laptop and started registering for classes to further my education and keep up to date with the latest studies to help my ENL students and learn more about SEL strategies that will help with classroom management. From the bottom of my heart I thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

I am currently a forth grade teacher at the Locke School. Many of my students come from low income homes, barely being able to afford basic school supplies. Some don't have any at all. Despite my students lack of basic needs, they still come to school with a smile on their face every day. School is their second home, which they look forward to attending everyday. Many of my students even ask if they can come to school on the weekends.
