  • New Readers in Need of New Books!

    Thank you so much for helping to provide our kindergarten class with these vibrant and fun leveled-texts! This was something our classroom was missing and in high need of. By having a variety of text levels to choose from, all students were able to enjoy stories at their reading level. Students loved choosing a variety of stories to keep in their book bags and enjoy reading with their friends!

  • Calming Corner

    To say that my students were massively excited when they walked into our classroom and saw our new and improved Calming Corner would be a huge understatement! I can hardly begin to describe the positive impact it has had on our classroom. My students feel so much comfort by having our beautiful tent as a place to escape to, filled with comforting materials that help students feel safe, loved and cared for. The Calming Corner is used throughout the day, every day. My class is empowered as students practice identifying how they are feeling and utilize tools such as worry stones, weighted blankets, the breathing board, etc. to give themselves what they need to feel calm and ready to learn.
