  • Play Dough and Stamps and Spellers, Oh My!

    Funded Dec 27, 2019

My class has thoroughly enjoyed and appreciate the supplies sent! They were thrilled to have the new resources to practice kindergarten literacy skills and excited for the hands-on resources! We have not used stamps this year so they were very appreciative of that.

WE have been able to use the play dough stamps for our sight word station, the CVC builders for phonics and guided reading, and CVC strips for tapping out words!

We have utilized every bit of what was given to expand our learning! We appreciate your donations very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Roberts

  • Counting Down the Days

    Funded Jul 3, 2019

Thank you for your generous donations! Your donations have helped us organize our headphones so that every child has access to their personal headphones and is able to keep their headphones safe.

The calendar has allowed us to practice math skills each and every day. Students have been working on their counting skills, months of the year, days of the week, and types of weather.

The books have been placed in our classroom library for every student to enjoy. The students have really enjoyed these specific books.”

  • Organize! Room for Your Stuff!

    Funded Mar 20, 2019

When my students received the chair pouches, they were ecstatic because each student had their own chair pouch. The students created their own name plate to be placed in the card slot. They enjoyed that because they were able to be creative and draw doodles and pictures after writing their name.

We used this resource consistently throughout the year. Students placed their notebook and pencil box in their pouch for easy access. When it was time for writing, students were able to get their notebooks in a short amount of time and quickly began their writing.

The next steps for our classroom is to have a space for each pair of headphones! I am excited for this because a shoe organizer will be simply enough to store all the headphones as well as accessible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Roberts

In my kindergarten classroom, students work diligently using their notebooks, pencils, paper, glue sticks, and other school supplies that are kept in their pencil boxes or around the room. The pocket seat covers will help the students stay organized and to have all of their classroom belongings in one spot (behind them). This will not only keep their supplies together but it will also teach them how to stay organized by cleaning up properly. The Chair back Buddies will teach my students how to keep their items organized. This is an essential skill students have to learn to manage their own responsibilities. We use our journals for daily writing. They practice letter formation and illustrating pictures using their imaginations! The Chair back Buddy will make a difference in their learning because it will minimize the down time from passing out and collecting notebooks and pencil boxes.
