The students in my sixth grade class are a wonderful and insightful bunch. Everyday they give me many reasons to laugh and smile. Even though our school is a small rural school, these kids are preparing to do BIG things. Our class works hard together to establish respect, responsibility, and positive relationships in our classroom. My students are at a pivotal point in their education, where deeper comprehension becomes vital, and middle school is just around the corner. They are leaning how to be their own best advocate for their education, and they know that asking for help just means that you are trying harder. They are on the cusp of childhood and adolescence (which brings a good mix of innocence and wit) and it will be exciting to see the adults they become some day. These kids are ready to make an impact on their community!
