Colors, Colors Everywhere
Funded Sep 20, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity. The new color printer has really helped create and improve our learning centers. Before having the printer, my copies were made with black and white ink. Many times, the images would come out really dark and my students would have a difficult time figuring out the pictures. With the black and white ink, students were also less engaged and they found it "boring". I have also used the the color printer in the office, but it would come out grainy or the colors would not match. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to change all of that!
When the new printer came, it was like Christmas to me and my students. They were excited to see and try out the new and improved centers. The colors were crisp, bright and all the students were engaged.”

Funded May 18, 2019Thanks again for your wonderful donations! It is amazing to have another device in our classroom. It makes a tremendous difference and my students couldn't be happier.
Since the beginning of the school year, we have been using the donated chromebook for many things, like for reading and math. The students enjoy reading online because its not the "traditional" way where they have to flip page by page and ask for help when they are unable to read a word. The online reading program allows them to read at their own pace and if there is a word that they are unable to read, they can click on it and the program will read it to them. This took away stress from my students who had trouble reading and it motivated them to continue.
Once again, thank you so much!”

Funded May 27, 2018Thank you so much for your wonderful generosity. It is great having an extra iPad to use in the classroom. Normally every morning, I will have to go into the computer lab to borrow a few iPads and then bring it back after an hour or so. It does not give my students enough time to work on their activities because they would have to share their usage time. With this extra iPad, students have more time and have something to call their own. It stays in the classroom and they have the ability to use it without having to worry about returning it to the computer lab.
Students have been using the iPad to improve their reading and math. They are also using it to reach their academic goals. With this extra iPad, I have noticed they have been more engaged and willing to work towards their goal. Once again, thank you so much and we are extremely grateful.”
