Amazing Arctic Animals
Funded Sep 21, 2024Thank you for the amazing polar animal books and stuffed animals. Students divided into groups 2 weeks ago based on their selected animal. They have been working in their groups to read these new books about their polar animal and to gather facts. They have been presenting their facts on team bulletin boards, writing research papers, and creating slides and videos for their animals on Google Slides and Canva.
Students especially love the stuffed animals which have been great reading buddies. Thank you for helping bring content into our ELA block. Learning about animals in science and in ELA has made for great fun.”

Rocks, Fossils, and Minerals, Oh My!
Funded Nov 13, 2024This was one of my favorite projects to have funded. Students loved acting as paleontologists as they dug for fossils and identified their findings. They loved examing, classifying, and organizing hundreds of fossils, rocks, and minerals. The posters were also so helpful in teaching about our earth.
Thank you so much for donating these amazing resources to our classroom. These materials helped our science unit come alive for all fourth graders. It was so much fun. Thank you for helping this dream become a reality.”

Funded Jun 6, 2024Thank you for donating these amazing books to our classroom. Life in a Longhouse Village, The Iroquois: The Six Nations Confederacy, Eagle Song, and Iroquois Folk Tales: Native American Short Stories were huge hits during our content based ELA block.
We have been working hard this year to integrate social studies, science, and language arts and these books have helped make that dream a reality. Basing our classroom schedule on themes rather than strategies has had a huge impact on student learning.
Thank you!”

Revolutionary War Hero Books
Funded Oct 10, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom project for more content based classroom books. These two books are our favorites to read when learning about the Revolutionary War and now we will be able to read them in small groups with each child’s own copy. Thank you for helping bring history alive through literature.”

Electrify Our Reading
Funded Jun 6, 2024Thank you so much for helping our classroom project become a reality for my students and I. We are placing greater emphasis this year on integrating reading and writing with science and social studies. These high interest books will help me hold small reading groups that broaden students knowledge of their content topics while also working on the reading skills they need.
Students are excited this year to try out our new books and can't wait to share what they learn with their classmates and families.
Thank you for helping us grow our classroom library.”

Super Seat Sacks
Funded May 8, 2024Thank you so much for donating a class set of seat sacks. They arrived at the end of the last school year which gave my previous students a few weeks to try them out and see how best to use them.
This year's students are using them so well. These seat sacks help students stay organized with desks that don't already have built in storage. Since students can find their materials quickly and efficiently we have saved much needed instructional time.
Thank you for helping keep our classroom organized.”

Funded Dec 13, 2023Thank you so much for our classroom prizes. Students were incredibly eager for their arrival. Once the packages showed up, students quickly added them to our classroom store.
Students have been working hard to be respectful, responsible, and safe in school so they can earn their class money so they can purchase some of these amazing prizes.
Thank you so much for helping keep our classroom economy alive and thriving. You are helping students develop number sense, learn financial literacy, and helping to motivate them to be the best they can be.”

Classroom Community Supplies
Funded Jan 8, 2024Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project for classroom community supplies. Students have enjoyed sorting through our new supplies and organizing them for easy access. It's great to have extra snacks. It's hard to learn when we are hungry.
It's also great to have materials like brushes and combs to keep students feeling their best. The gum helps ease anxious minds and helps those who are distracted focus a little bit better.
Thank you so much for your generous donations. You are amazing!”

Funded Sep 26, 2023Thank you so much for donating these magnetic place value disks to our classroom. Fourth graders have loved using our vertical whiteboards this year with their classmates. These have been a fun addition. They love to manipulate these when solving challenging problems with their peers.
Place value disks are a big part of our fourth grade math curriculum. They help students develop number sense and understand the "why" of math. Thank you for helping math become more hands on for our fourth grade friends. You are amazing!”

Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you so much for donating more pencils to our classroom. Pencils are a hot commodity in fourth grade. We go through them so fast. I never want to delay instruction when a student is looking for a pencil. It is so much easier to have some freshly sharpened pencils on hand to pass to them quickly.
Thank you for keeping instruction flowing as we now always have a pencil available for each student. Because of you, our classroom can keep running smoothly and seamlessly.
Thank you again for your generous donation.”
