  • New Supplies For ESL Class

    Funded Nov 30, 2023

Thank you for all the new materials we have received in our classroom. The bins are used to organize student work, which the students are so proud of. The dry erase strips help us practice word work daily. We label and use our colored pencils all the time , that way we can recall what we have learned about. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and the public schools. We are very appreciative for all of our new materials. We can't wait to share some pictures with you , so you can see how we use the materials !”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Jarema

  • Magnetic Letters For Making Letters Stick

    Funded Dec 29, 2023

The materials provided offer students a hands-on tool, which had helped us learn our letters and sounds tremendously. My students needed alphabet manipulatives to enhance their learning of the alphabet. Our growing population of multilingual lingual learners is getting bigger everyday. I as a teacher feel I need to do whatever it takes for these students to grow. Being able to see the alphabet presented in different ways like magnetic letters, building words and repeating sounds has lead them to success in literacy. We have cards to practice our writing as well and Bingo with words that we are learning. Thank you for believing in us and giving us the successful tools!”

  • UFLI Program for EL Students

    Funded Nov 3, 2023

These books have been a tremendous help within my classroom. These products have books as read alouds, adding them to our library and for individual book boxes. My EL students are so happy that we have lessons with Google Slides that go along with UFLI. This makes it so much easier to teach with a great program I can follow and the children can learn from. What a difference the past couple weeks have been with this. Have a great holiday and thank you for supporting us. This is a wonderful gift !”

  • Can You Hear Me- Part 2

    Funded May 10, 2023

Having AirPods in the classroom has been such a great addition. We are able to complete assignments and assessments which require students to listen and speak. The AirPods are needed to support learning in the classroom for many years to come and are being used for many support meanings online. Students will be eager to complete their assignments knowing they will have an opportunity to use these. Thank you for all your support. We are very grateful for people like you. Our future leaders would not be where they are today, without all your support.”

  • Ink Needed!

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

I cannot thank you enough for helping with my classroom project! My students love to use our printer to display work in the classroom as well as to print out work to learn our letters and sounds. My students also bring home to show their families their successes in school, that they are so proud of. My students try so hard and it brightens their day to be able to bring home copies of everything they do and show their families so they are both learning the English language. Without your kindness and generosity we would not be able to have such luxuries in our classroom. I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. Thank you for a start to a great year !”

I teach second grade in a very low income school where all the children receive free lunches. We are a Title One school and most of the children are raised by grandparents or live in foster homes. All these students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 99% of the student body is eligible for free lunch and over 99% receive public assistance. These factors come together and place our children at a huge disadvantage, but we are committed to providing these students with a rigorous academic program.
