  • STEM Is Worth Exploring!

    Thank you so much for giving to our classroom. We do a lot of research on building materials for our STEM centers and the Chrome book helps us have access to lots of information on the best way to build items. We like to find Lego pictures on our Chrome book to use as a guide to help us when we are building STEM tasks.

    Also, we use our Chrome book for reading centers. We don't have listening centers anymore so these are awesome resources for helping us have access to Story line books. The students adapt so quickly to the online use of technology and our new Chrome book is one way to assist the students. The students are super excited about becoming tech savvy and they quickly become "experts" in logging on to these computers.

    I have many students who read very well and they love to find books on the Chrome book that we don't have in class. There are so many things we can use our new tech tool on in the classroom.”

  • Tech Savvy First Graders!

    The Chromebook purchased for my classroom is allowing my first grade students to have an instant listening center, math center and reading center. They are able to move the Chromebook around the room as needed to use for many daily activities that cannot be done on a stationary computer. They work with a partner in areas in the room and they also are able to take it to their seat if they need to do research on a non-fiction text that we are reading about and writing about in class. Students are able to use Google Chrome to share writing pieces with students in other classes and they are able to edit each other's writing. These tools are so useful to my class. I even see the Exceptional students actively engaged with this tech tool. We are so thankful that you chose our class to help with technology. It is helping us to have more resources available within our class of 23 students.”
