  • Kindergarten Hands-on Learning!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Wow, thank you so much. The impact of Harvey was tremendous to our community and students. We started school and did it best to maintain normalcy. Having the extra manipulatives and resources in the room will make it so much easier. I really appreciate you donating to our classroom and school!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bronstein Hebert

Thank you so much for making this project happen! I am excited to get the materials ordered and share them with the kids as they arrive. It is going to make small groups even easier when I have more materials accessible to me and the students. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!!”

Wow thank you so much for contributing to my classroom and the kids! My grade level meets every week to sing together as a grade level and this will reach even more than the kids in my classrooms. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for donating to our classroom!”

  • TIME to Learn!

    Funded Aug 30, 2017

Thank you so much for donating to our class project. I feel it is so important for students to learn about current events using authentic materials and textbooks just can't do that. Once I receive my materials and school starts we will be using these in class. I cannot wait to share with the students!!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bronstein Hebert

  • iPad For All Seasons, For All Reasons!

    Funded Sep 29, 2014

This is a small thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. The students love using the i-pads and our always asking to use them. We have been using the I-pads for workstations, I-station assessments, apps to review our sight words and math skills. The students have also been able to do research on them and they are nice to have so the students can work in different locations around the classroom and not be tied down to a computer.

It is very difficult to get new technology in our classrooms and being able to have numerous I-pads available for my students has been a wonderful addition to our classroom and has really helped the students to learn more skills. Technology is definitely the wave of the our future and having these at their fingertips is a wonderful opportunity that some of them don't have in their homes.

Without donors like yourself I would never have been able to get this amazing technology into my classroom. You are very much appreciated, thank you!”

Yes, learning can happen without technology, but we live in a world where technology is deeply embedded into everything we do. Technology has revolutionized the way humans connect and interact with each other. Students of today need to be prepared for a workplace exposed to television, computers, video games and social media. With the use of technology students can pace lessons to their own needs and learn using different learning styles. Our students need to be prepared to communicate with other students around the world, this can be accomplished through websites and Skype. Technology opens the door and introduces the world to the students which helps make them prepared for the global world.
