Providing Classroom Basics for a Productive School Year

As soon as the supplies arrived, my students' excitement was undeniable—they couldn't wait to use the new pencils, erasable gel pens, and dry erase markers during their lessons. The laminator has already helped us create durable bilingual word walls and reusable math practice sheets, making learning more interactive and engaging. Your support has truly transformed our classroom, creating a more organized, clean, and inspiring space for my dual language learners to thrive.
With these resources, we've been able to dive into hands-on projects with confidence. One memorable moment was when students used their erasable pens to edit their writing, realizing mistakes are just part of the learning process! Funded Dec 9, 2024Thank you for making "Fun and Financial Literacy in Our Classroom Store" a reality! Your support has allowed my third-grade students to engage in hands-on learning about budgeting, saving, and making responsible financial decisions. Our classroom store, stocked with Airheads, pudding cups, Frito Lay snacks, keychains, and more, has become a favorite part of our learning routine. Students earn class currency for participation, good behavior, and completing financial literacy challenges, giving them real-life practice in managing money. Watching them carefully plan their purchases and excitedly save for bigger rewards has been inspiring. One student even proudly saved up for weeks to buy a keychain, learning the value of delayed gratification.
When my students first saw the store, their excitement was priceless! They couldn't wait to start earning and making decisions about their "money." This project has not only reinforced financial concepts but also encouraged critical thinking and responsibility. Moving forward, we will introduce lessons on setting financial goals and distinguishing between needs and wants. Thanks to your generosity, my students are gaining real-world financial skills in a fun and meaningful way. Your support is shaping their understanding of money management for years to come!”

Their excitement was evident when they first saw the new materials; their faces lit up, and they eagerly began exploring the notebooks, markers, and erasers.
