  • Wiggle While You Work!

    Funded Apr 30, 2021

Thank you so much for providing my students with Lakeshore floor cushions for flexible seating. My students enjoy the cushions to sit on the floor comfortably to read, write, and build.

Our classroom has tile floors which can be hard and cold. These colorful soft cushions make sitting around the room comfy and appealing.

The students enjoy carrying their cushion to that special spot. It provides the flexibility of learning anywhere around the room and more mobility on a cushion than a chair.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Potts

  • Learning About Diversity Through Virtual Read Alouds

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

Thank you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward " Learning About Diversity Through Virtual Read Alouds. With the books that were donated we have been able to broaden our horizons through literature, and hold discussions on how the books reflect cultural tolerance. It has been a positive influence that they have access to everyday and the students are building and developing a respect and understanding of their cultures.

Having access to multicultural literature has empowered my students to have positive attitudes towards diversity and tolerance, and that it is okay for others to be different from what they are used to! That is priceless in the world we live in today. They will one day be respectful and character minded citizens of this world, that have sensitivity and tolerance for all people.

Again, thank you for your donation. Our children's faces lit up when books arrived! They beg me everyday to switch out their books. This is also gaining their love for reading. We thank you that our students have an abundance in school, even though that may not be the case elsewhere."”

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

We want to thank you all for your generous donations for our classroom! The cubbies have helped us to stay organized and focus on learning.

The cubbies have helped us to keep our individual supplies in one place. They are now easy for us to access and we can get to them quickly. The cubbies have given each student a personal space of their own in our classroom.

The students were so excited when the cubbies arrived and love that they now have a clutter free work space because they can organize their materials in the cubbies.

Thank you all for your continued support for my students and education.”

  • Shake, Rattle, and Roll in TK Art and Music!

    Funded Feb 11, 2020

The rhythm sticks were a big hit with our scholars. They get so happy when I pull them out so they can make a beat with a song or find the rhythm of the words.

The multi- cultural art kit where students can make themselves will be beautiful for our Open House in the spring.

Students will be using the colored sharpies to make Japanese Shibori dye resist fabric squares for our rainbow inquiry coming up in March.

Your generosity made such a difference in my classroom and these instruments and materials will continue to serve our students for years to come. Thank you so much for keeping the music and art alive!”

  • Give TK The Basics To Create

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give towards creating in our classroom. With the tempera sticks , watercolors, and misters that were donated, students have been able to tap into their creative talents. Students have made Valentines for our community and painted self portraits so far. These materials have allowed my young students the opportunity to independently create their masterpieces. My students set up their painting stations and think about what they will create. My favorite part is watching them draw and paint whatever they can imagine.

Again, thank you for your donation. Our children's faces light up when the art supplies are pulled out. They love the fact that they can have access to fun learning and great tools. We thank you that our students have abundance in school”

My Transitional Kindergarten students bring energy and joy to our classroom daily. They enter the room bouncing and skipping ready to embrace the day. They are bright and curious and look forward to each new classroom experience. Knowledge and technology are essential in today’s learning environment. My students come from economically disadvantaged homes and are English Learners that do not have the opportunity to use technology at home. I want to bring them rich technology experiences and tap into their insatiable appetite and natural curiosity to learn. Osmo’s Innovative Technology and the iPad Minis multiple uses would provide access to collaborative and innovative hands-on and heads on learning for the youngest learners in an exciting and motivating way while opening doors to the magic of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
