Fun Seating for Fun Learning!
Funded Sep 22, 2018I would like to start by saying THANK YOU so much for your continued support. Teachers could not do it without you, especially me. My students LOVE the wobble chairs; it allows them to move and wiggle while doing work. I also use them as incentives that students can earn. The staplers are coming in handy too! It is making attaching papers into student notebooks easier for students.
When my students first saw the wobble chairs they were practically jumping for joy and debating who was going to use them first. Again, I deeply appreciate your contribution and I hope to use your current and future donations to impact my students daily.”

Can You Hear Me Now? Good!
Funded Dec 20, 2017I would like to start by saying how grateful I am for your donation to my classroom. I wish I could give my students everything under the sun, but unfortunately I can't. It is donors like you that help impact our classrooms in a direct and immediate way. I am grateful for donors like you.
There were so many students in my classroom who were not getting the full impact of some of the activities I created for them because of a simple thing like headphones. With the class set of headphones received students are able to come check them out as needed and they are not internal headphones so it is much more sanitary then what was being used before. Thank you again for your much needed donation I could never say thank you enough!”

The Sound Of Science!
Funded Jul 10, 2017I'd like to start by saying thank you so much to all of the generous donors. Without donations from thoughtful individuals like yourself classrooms across the US would unfortunately not have the supplies we need in order to revolutionize teaching and learning for our 21st-century students.
For the most part, the speaker system for my classroom has made it to where my students can hear me. I am a very energetic teacher, which results in a lot of singing, chanting, and a lot of excitement and use of my voice. With teaching four classes a day it wears down my vocal chords to the point where I'm no longer able to speak. Your donation has made it possible to have a speaker system I am able to be heard always!
The students love to use the speaker too! I one thing I always try to do in my classroom is cultivate confidence! Anytime students have questions or answers they want to share they must stand and speak. When we are sharing answers or presenting information I let them use the same speaker system, which they get very excited over! They hear their own voice as loud and powerful! I feel that is priceless for our students.”

Interactive Science!
Funded Aug 30, 2017I deeply appreciate your contribution to my classroom! The students are really enjoying the bands across their chairs... It's funny to look down and see that the nervous bounce of their leg has turned into the stretching of a rubber band during a test. In their words, it is "stress relieving and soothing".
I would also like to thank you for the rockets that we will be launching in the spring for Mad Science Club! The students are very excited over the impending lunch, and truth be told I am too!I think the talk of the rockets has actually attracted new members this year.
Again, all of the students of my class deeply appreciate your wonderful generosity! Without dinners like you, we can not do amazing things like launch rockets! This is something students will remember for many many years to come. You have made a difference.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Tom's of Maine and 8 other donors.Ravens Fly High When They Have Supplies!
Funded Aug 11, 2016Thank you so much for your generosity in helping my students get supplies. As a teacher, I know the difference that these items, such as paper, tape, glue, and pencils, make to my students. There are students that can't afford these basics that now have you to thank for them. These supplies are used for the students to keep up with an individual interactive science notebook, which intern assist the students in learning. Student have been successfully maintaining their notebooks. Thank you very much for you wonder support/donations.”
