Back to Basics
Funded Nov 23, 2022Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom. You have directly impacted my students. The students use these items daily! About 1/3 of the 156 students that I teach did not have a notebook for school and many do not have pencils daily. So when I say you impact their daily science learning, I truly mean it. It is donors like you who can impact kids directly through this program, donors choose. I hope we can depend on your help later for the same generous help. Thank you from your 8th-grade science Ridge Road Ravens!”

Funded Apr 5, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity and donation to our classroom. The end of the school year is always the hardest for supplies. The students are always running low and they're not on sale at stores which definitely makes it more difficult for teachers and students to replenish. We are extraordinarily grateful for your donation of pencils, glue sticks, tissues, page protectors, and a stapler.
Truly, I think the students were the most excited about the plethora of pencils and soft tissue. I know those two things sound very small, but they are staple pieces in a working classroom.”

More Water Testing
Funded Feb 28, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation which allowed our students to have a first-hand experience of testing various water samples found throughout the greater area. with your help, the students were able to test the water samples for nitrates, phosphate, turbidity, bacteria, ammonia, salinity, pH, and hardness. Not only were students from this past school year able to benefit from your donation but future classes will also be able to benefit. Thank you for helping me to improve students' education with hands-on experience.”

Science-Models and MORE
Funded Nov 30, 2021Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom and for helping me to support student learning. The kids really enjoyed seeing the pathogens and microbes in a handheld size!
The small fruit, marbles, toothpicks and plastic utensils we're all used in a wonderful lab simulating the finches on the Galapagos Islands studied by Darwin. they were able to see how different beaks allowed them to eat different types of food the saying how they would be slowly eliminated from the area. Thank you so much for helping me provide this to these and future students.”

Water Quality Testing
Funded Feb 27, 2022Thank you so much for your support and donating to our student's interactive science science. The Seahawks and 49ers teams have been able to do extensive water testing of our local water. The Bulldogs team could not do the testing yet, but will at a later date. The students have not had much in the way of interactive science in the past two years of their schooling due to Covid. I am so thankful we were able to ban together and make this happen for our raven scholars. Thank you for your wonderful and ongoing support.”

Fun With Fossils!
Funded Nov 2, 2021I was overjoyed when these items came because they brought a concept such as rocks and dead things... To life! Most of my students had never held a fossil before in their life. The students were able to hold them in their hands and analyze them. I loved watching as they came up with more questions through there fun with fossils activities because that means they truly were emerged in the science. Thank you again for all of your gracious donations and I hope you continue to support teachers trying to support student education!”

The Basics!
Funded Jul 18, 2020Unfortunately, this year has been a year like no other. I taught virtually for more than half the school year and this is not unlike most of the teachers in the USA this year. It has been rough to say the least. 100% of assignment were required to be on the computer, thus not much was needed in the way of supplies besides a computer and a charger. I know I am in the majority when I say it is no way for children to learn, and I hope it is in the past.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity in your donation. In these tough times it is important to be thankful for all that we have. Most of my students did not get to use the supplies this year, but I have them all tucked safely away for this 2021-2022 school year.”

Funded Dec 18, 2019When the students open the box their eyes lit up! They loved the idea of sending a rocket soaring into the air as quickly as they could say 'wow'. For weeks our STEM club had been learning about Newton's laws of motion and aerodynamics.
The morning we launched them off so many questions arose about trajectory, speed, ect. This was my true goal! By bringing what they have been learning about to life it caused sparks. Sparks being their questions and the fire will be a yearning for knowledge! Thank you for helping to inspire these students.”

Starting Out the Year Right With STEM and Prizes!
Funded Aug 21, 2019I would like to start out by giving you a heartfelt thank you for helping donate to my class. If it were not for donors like you classrooms everywhere would not be as well equipt to inspire. The students were super excited to have more of the wobbly chairs. Kids were made to move and they LOVE them! We used the popsicle sticks for a building STEM activity and to use it for student equity by putting the student's names on them. I use them for questions, jobs, ect. We are also very appreciative of the basics like pencils and colored computer paper.
Thank you so much for your donation.”

Funded Mar 25, 2019When the kids opened the box they were excited to see the massive amount of gluesticks! The students use glue sticks daily and our class definitely was in need. These items were used by every child I taught this year and we are definitely grateful for your donation! In fact, there were actually so many that I was able to save half of a pack for the next school year. My students and I appreciate your ongoing support for supplying my classroom with not only the things we want but those we need! Thank you.”
