  • Divided Space for Learning

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

We cannot thank you enough for your generous donations. Because of you we were able to purchase two dividers for our room. With these dividers we are able to successfully section off areas of the classroom. The dividers help us to stay focus and stay on task when learning. The dividers also serve as a safety barrier to our classroom room. Our room is extra hot and the dividers allow us to open out room and have a cross breeze.

Without your generous donations none of this would have been possible. We are so grateful and appreciative of each and everyone of you.”

Due to a diagnosis of low functioning autism, my students need a very structured learning environment. My students are easily distracted and overwhelmed in large noisy areas. The classroom we are currently in is an old OT classroom and is very spacious. My students need smaller, more defined work areas to make effective progress. These dividers will help define work areas and help students maintain focus. When my students are focused they can better achieve their goals. My students need set boundaries when playing in the sensory area. The dividers will lay out a concrete area to where they can play.
