  • Kindergarten Books and Basics!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our classroom! The scholars in my class have loved reading all of our new books- we use them during social-emotional learning, to help our minds and brains grow and learn new social, coping, and overall, life skills! The kids have been loving exploring the pictures, listening to them read aloud, and overall exploring these texts together.

Additionally, my new teacher supplies (the rocketbook planner, sharpies, and highlighters) have all been helping me plan so much easier and neater! Gathering my thoughts, erasing them to start over or edit, has been very beneficial, not only to me but also for my scholars!

We've also been able to craft a ton with our new supplies. The scholars LOVE getting their hands dirty and crafting!

Thank you again SO so much for the incredible supplies! Happy New Year!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Kindergarten Gifts and Memories to Last a Lifetime

    Funded May 19, 2021

Thank you so much for helping me bring this project to life! Once my students received their gifts, they couldn't believe it! I was able to beautifully present custom designed gift bags with gorgeous, colorful tissue paper! The parents were overwhelmed with joy as their children received these momentos and tools to help them succeed with summer learning to help them best succeed in first grade! Parents were filled with gratitude and my students were so excited to continue learning over the summer!

The picture frames were so perfect to frame our virtual kindergarten class photo and leave all my students with that special memory! The Brain Quest books inspired all of my students to continue learning, working, and studying over the summer, which as we all know, isn't always an easy task to accomplish.

Thank you again so much- Your generosity is so greatly appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Oh The Places You'll Go! from Kindergarten!

    Funded Mar 15, 2021

There aren't enough words to truly thank you for helping me bring this amazing project to life! Reading is SUCH an important life skill, I love to teach my young kindergarteners the value and joy of reading at such an early age. It's always my goal as an early childhood educator to inspire children to not only learn how to read, but learn to love to read and enjoy the places reading magically transports us to!

By giving each child their own copy of Oh The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss, I hope to inspire them along their individual journeys to college and beyond, that they can grow up to be and do anything!

I appreciate all of your help and support in bringing this project to life! THANK YOU!”

  • Kindergarten Gifts and Memories to Last a Lifetime

    Funded May 28, 2020

There will never be enough words to genuinely explain how incredible this project made my students and I feel! With the materials funded in this project, I was able to make 22 gift bags full of goodies for my beyond deserving kindergarteners!

Without our typical in-person end of the year, without our end of year trips, without in-person kindergarten graduation, I still wanted my students to experience special end of year kindergarten memories. This was it!!

I drove to all 22 houses and surprised many of my students with these special and individual end of year gifts. Thank you for making this possible for my kids!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Oh The Places You'll Go! from Kindergarten!

    Funded May 28, 2020

My 22 students were beyond shocked when they received their own copies of this book! In our school, we read Oh The Places You'll Go! countless times to teach the children that they can do and become anything they want to be.

This book is so inspiring as it teaches you to do and try anything your heart desires. Teaching such young children in kindergarten, I feel I have the opportunity to shape their minds and truly teach them that they can become anything they ever dream of- by gifting these awesome books to my children, I hope they all grow to follow their dreams and feel inspired by this book!”

  • Kindergarten Organization and Time Management -Skills For The Future!

    Funded Aug 27, 2019

Scholars in my class have been loving the independence that has come with both our silent-glow timer and mailbox storage system! My little kindergarteners have been loving having both of these new items in our classroom! Scholars have gotten better and better at unpacking and packing up daily, using our classroom mailbox system. Some kids even do the organizing for us and place all papers in the mailboxes for their peers to take home. The silent-glow timer has been a really nice, calm, and enjoyable way for the children to know when time is up and when they must begin clean up and/ or move onto the next activity.

Thank you so much for helping me foster a sense of independence within our kindergarten classroom!”

  • Engineering With Magna-Tiles In Kindergarten !

    Funded May 3, 2019

My students have spent so much time in awe of all the magna-tiles that we received and added to our classroom! The kids LOVE playing with them and engineering all sorts of different things! My students have used them in so many different ways- engineering, creating 'homes'... but what's been the best gift from this project has been watching them work in groups, work with peers who may not be their closest friends, all to work together to build something new and creative, something that they've never seen before! When only 3 or 4 kids had been working together in the past, groups of 10-12 have been collaborating to build something 'bigger' or 'better'! The collaboration has been amazing and I can't wait for many future kindergarteners to utilize these tools as well! Thank you for helping our classroom grow and be a more fun and successful environment for learning!”

  • Time for Kids Yearlong Non-Fiction Reading Fun!

    Funded Sep 14, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous donations!! To support our nonfiction unit of study in both reading and writing, we have been reading the Time For Kids magazines each week! My scholars love being able to read relevant nonfiction information, while also exploring pictures about the topics. They have been getting so excited each time I mention that we'll be exploring a new Time For Kids! Thank you so much for allowing me to expose them to such wonderful content... This would not have been possible for my scholars without you!”

  • Building Words and Numbers In Our Kindergarten Classroom!

    Funded Mar 30, 2017

The technology that you have contributed towards is helping my kindergarten scholar grow tremendously! From the hands-on experiences of building words, playing with numbers, and building shapes, the kids are loving working with friends to expand their learning experiences.

Kids who struggle with identifying their letters are loving this new hands-on approach. The Osmo Genius Kits are really allowing my scholars to enjoy these independent and small group activities. In addition, scholars are enjoying being able to 'play' with their friends while ultimately learning new skills or building upon previously taught skills.

The scholars are SO excited to have their own Osmo Genius Kits in the classroom! They are eager to 'play' and learn with their friends during center time! THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Kindergartners Want Hands-On Activities!

    Funded Dec 7, 2016

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My scholars have been overjoyed to use our new materials as part of our centers each week! Scholars have been using the iPads daily, now that they have safe and portable cases to use and carry throughout the classroom. Scholars have also been interacting in small group activities playing with their new centers such as building sight words with stamps and ink, asking reading comprehension questions with story wands, finding the missing letter in a cvc word using stamps, and fishing for sight words!

The scholars are SO enjoying being able to participate in hands-on activities that promote their learning with reading, writing, and math. They are enjoying working with peers in their small groups and being able to collaborate and discuss stories and ideas! The smiles throughout the room during center time is infectious- all because of your donations!! Thank you!”
