Several years ago when flexible seating was on the forefront I was hooked! I did my research and though little research was done about learning and student seating, one thing was clear. Student standard, hard-bottom, straight-back chairs are unappealing and very uncomfortable. I received a grant for 25 stability balls. My students went crazy over them. Not only were they appealing and students were eager to sit and learn, they were building core strength just by sitting! Flexible seating prevents slouching and heads down which inevitably leads to lack of focus. However, over the years of love the stability balls have been damaged one way or another and I am left with only 8. I needed a new form of seating that will survive the years. These wobble chairs are a fabulous replacement that will enhance stability and focus! My students will love learning in these chairs and it is an inviting way to help make my classroom our home away from home. With these wobble seats, my students will forever be focused, stable, building core strength, and enjoying where they sit! These chairs will bring joy to many students for years to come!
