Alphabet Teaching Tubs
Funded Mar 25, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation! You have supplied us with English alphabet tubs for our classroom. Each letter of the alphabet has 6 tactile objects that student can explore to help them learn words and vocabulary that begin with that letter! The students love playing with these alphabet objects. We also use them to sort by letters and sounds!

Dry and Warm
Funded Mar 8, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation! You have supplied us with extra clothes for my prek students to keep at school. Students use these clothes to change in to if they have a bathroom accident or spill food, drink, paint, etc on themselves. We are so happy to have these extra clothes because the students can quickly get changed and don't have to get picked up to go home or have a parent bring them in new clothes! Thanks again for thinking of my students and our classroom! My students and I truly appreciate you!”

Squeaky Clean
Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation! You have supplied us with a years worth of Clorox wipes for our classroom! We use these wipes daily to keep our room clean and our bodies healthy and germ free. We eat breakfast, lunch and snack in our classroom so we use them after each of these meals.
We also use PlayDoh and paint daily and can create big messes when having fun! These wipes also come in handy after using these materials and supplies!

Funded May 10, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation. You have supplied my students with a years worth of PlayDoh! We use the PlayDoh daily. The students use it for free play after breakfast and lunch. They also use it in learning areas.
We use the PlayDoh to practice our shapes, letters, number and names! We just celebrated Hispanic heritage month by making coqui frogs from Puerto Rico! We had so much fun learning about these frogs and creating them with the dough. Thanks again for thinking about our students!”

They love the count and move the counting on our classroom abacus. Not only does it help us count, but it helps us understand comparing numbers, as well as early addition skills..
My students use the math materials in their independent learning areas and they love to have new supplies to explore and have a hands on experience!”

Warm and Dry

Mostly we have used these items of clothing for bathroom accidents. We have also used them when the students spill breakfast or lunch in themselves. We also use paint, PlayDoh, and shaving cream in our class and sometimes we get our clothes dirty and need a spare.

Learning Science with Our Senses
Funded Nov 28, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation! The students were so excited to receive the packages and open them up.
They love the sensory tubes! We are learning about the five senses and the sensory tubes were placed in the Science Area for students to use and explore independently. They use these tubes to learn about their sense of sight, sound, and touch!
We also received a sensory ball that students use to learn about their sense of sight and touch. The students use their sense of touch and sight to explains and collapse the ball.

Let’s Build!
Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students were so excited to open the packages and see all of the wonderful new learning toys and activities.
The students love to build with the wooden construction planks. They like to use the picture cards that tell and show them how to make certain structures. This is a great problem solving skill!
The students also love the magnetic tiles. They love building towers, and castles, robots and cars with them. It allows them to use their imagination, and at the same time helps them with social skills as well as shapes and colors.”

We use it to make letters, numbers, patterns and for counting. We also use it just for fun when using our imagination and being creative.
My students love using PlayDoh because it is interactive, hands on and engaging! We also used the PlayDoh to talk about colors and to do science experiments to see what happens when colors mix together.
