Having a storage shelf for blocks and other manipulative toys will allow the children to have a designated area to build, play, and create. I am a new teacher trying to create a fun and comfortable classroom. Having shelves for their toys instead of being on the floor in storage bins would make the classroom more inviting to the children. With these new shelves, my children will be able to choose what to play with independently, boosting their self confidence and ability to make their own choice. It will also help to declutter the classroom.
