Happy holidays! Thank you so much for this incredible gift for my students. It felt so incredibly great to send kids home with brand new books to help them build their own at home libraries. My students love to read- they are always asking to go book shopping and can often be found with a book in their hands when they are given free time.
They especially fell in love with the "There was an old lady..." series after attending a live virtual read aloud with the author. The excitement and expression on their faces is something I will cherish always.”

Thank you so much for the incredible gift of word builders and flip charts. These resources have been invaluable during small group instruction. Students learn best when learning takes a hands on approach. It makes things more exciting, engaging and fun. It also helps new learning to "stick."
These resources are used daily to help student build phonemic awareness and practice phonics strategies. The students love to interact when them to build and read new words. They are also a favorite choice during our weekly Friday Genius Hour time.”

Thank you so much for donating to help us get book baggies. These book baggies allow each student to have their own baggie that they can use when they shop for books in our classroom library. It also allows them to hold all of their reading toolkit materials like highlighters, pencils and post it notes.
We use these baggies every day during reading workshop to explore new books as we learn to read like gold and apply the new strategies we are learning. We are so thankful for the generous donations and are loving our new resources!”

Thank you so much for the additional chargers and the charging dock for our iPads. We no longer have to share chargers and can start our day with fully charged devices. Previously we were having to charge half our iPads overnight and then charge the remaining iPads upon coming in to school in the morning. This was time consuming and led often times to us running out of battery power when we needed it most. These chargers help to ensure every student had what they needed to be success. The charging dock made it so easy to organize our iPads around the classroom for easy access. Thank you so much for his gift!”

Thank you so much for the soaps, sanitizers and the variety of skintone bandages for our classroom. Special thanks to Dial for doubling our order and for the double match offer. Because of you all, I can ensure my students stay healthy and safe in our classroom. We love the variety of scents the sanitizers came in and how soft our hands will feel. We have enough resources to last us the rest of the school year. The students were so excited for the bandages. One girl even said, "Wow, I feel seen!" It truly made my heart burst with love. So far, we are benefitting from new Pop It! Multiplication Math Centers to help us use Pop It Fidget Toys to create arrays and learn our multiplication facts. We are also benefitting from Writing Conference Cards that help students learn their next steps to improve their writing pieces. By being able to purchase games and hands on resources for students, I am able to devote more of my time to creating and planning for small group instruction. I am so happy with the quality and durability of the baggies and am so excited for the students to fill their baggies with books from our classroom library on Monday. Last week we had to unexpectedly transition from in person learning to remote learning and having these books baggies will be so helpful if we have to do that again. The students will be able to safely carry their supplies, such as books and their iPads and chargers, home with them for use during remote learning situations.”

Thank you so much for the earbuds! These came in handy last week when we unexpectedly had to transition from in person learning to remote. Students were able to take their individual headphones and storage case home with them and used them to engage in remote learning on Zoom. They helped students minimize the background noise in their homes and remain focused on their learning. Without these resources this transition would not have been as successful as it was. We are so beyond grateful for the support our classroom has received. Thank you donors!”
