The stress relieving tools we are requesting will be used to arm teachers and support staff with the items and activities so the classroom becomes a more social and emotionally safe learning environment. This will give students access to items throughout the day in each classroom and allow opportunities to take a break within the classroom when needed without missing out on instruction. Now teachers and support staff will feel confident that they can help students feel ready to learn and safe. Providing these items to the teachers especially will in turn make the students less likely to feel the need to "take a break" outside of the classroom when feeling overwhelmed.
