I want to introduce my kindergarten and first grade students to the basic concepts of computer programming. By purchasing the Bee Bots and Coding Mouse Activity kits, I will be able to use hands on materials to teach my youngest students. Having tangible materials will allow my students to retail more of what they are learning. It's time to begin preparing our students for the jobs of the future. Every child in elementary school should have the opportunity to learn more about coding. Coding teaches students employable skills for the future. Coding also teaches students critical thinking and problem solving skills that will enable them to become successful 21st century learners, workers, and citizens.
