The tablets will enable my students to logon to mulitple websites that we use and would like to use within the classroom. We are learning how to login and listen to books online through "Epic", however we have to schedule around several other classrooms to use the chrome books. We are also wanting to develop some mastery in math fluency with the help of "Reflex Math" but it is very difficult for young students on a computer. These tablets will allow my students to explore and learn more things than just me lecturing to them all the time. These tablets also come with other learning games that I could implement into the students activities. We plan to start using them in our daily centers. This includes when we break out into 4 leveled groups. We are currently only having students on chrome books and the others doing desk or teacher work for 10 minutes. With 12 of these tablets, I could have 2 groups of 12 students, and they could be on for 20 minutes. This is important in the beginning, as it takes a good while for a kindergartener to learn how to log in. The tablets would simplify this process as well.
