• Building Minds and Bodies with the Basics

  My students truly have benefited from the healthy snacks and generosity they have been shown. Their basic needs of warm clothing was so needed during the very cold long winter we have endured. Their basic needs macaroni and cheese along with the soup really helped my students when they were recovering from colds and the flu.

  I cannot express in words what it means to the students and families when they are given what they need without any judgement. I am so glad this project made it off the ground.”

  My students have truly loved the hands on items purchased to build their minds up by applying math, science, and creativity to complete academic task. These materials have helped to provide a resource for them to use as they express their thinking and themselves.

  Working with classmates collaborating in a safe positive environment is what brings out the best ideas and allows for deeper understanding.

• Educating Entrepreneurs and Engineers in an Elementary Setting

  The products you provided contributed to building and creating a wreath designed by students to give to those in the hospital or in assisted living for the holidays.

  They had a budget, got to choose from items, and had to present to the class their thoughts in the design and reflect on what went well and what they would change.

  They also designed and collaborated on creating a toy or item that pets would love. They watched videos and participated in discussions and began the stem activity.They loved it.”

• Creative Community Christmas Stem Activities!

  My students were so excited to collaborate on a community project together to provide wreaths for meals on wheels to deliver to people in need for the holiday.

  They created their design and with a budget and earnings from our classroom economy they launched their first round of seeing the impact they can make. They got the opportunity to think like an engineer and feel confident about their choices.

  Students struggle when they don't have enough food to support their high level of energy. When they are hungry they can't focus. With your support these students are engaged in their learning and motivated to work harder. They are able to choose something that is nutritious and tasty. • Shopping for Treats and Treasures

  My students are so motivated to complete task and learn more about saving and spending. They are making deposits in their checking, actually named the bank they are depositing their funds into, and monitoring what expenses they have. They are analyzing and reflecting on their personal choices and trying new things based on exposure to great writing tools and journal 📔 s.

  They didn't choose to save this week, they almost spent everything they had earned. I definitely love watching them learn and spending their earnings on things they need.
