• iPad to Track Students' Fitness Tests and Levels!

  Funded May 6, 2014

  The Ipad has been such a blessing in my physical education program. I know have a less time consuming way of inputting fitness test data into a computer. I am able to enter the data as they finish each one of their fitness tests. The convince of using this device has helped me reduce paper work and spend more time preparing lessons for my students. This results in a more efficient and beneficial physical education program for all my students. Thank you once again for your generous donation to my school. • My PE Students Need to Learn Teamwork and Cooperation.

  Thank you so much for donating to my project. The kids have really enjoyed cooperating and working together to accomplish a goal. I look forward in the future to use this equipment to teach other classes the importance of teamwork and working together. Every class that I have now has a better understanding of the importance to work together to accomplish as a team what they want to accomplish. • Kinect in the Gym Would Be AWESOME!

  The students absolutely love using the Kinect. It is a fun way to exercise while playing a video game. Many of my students don't have this technology at home so it is a real treat when they are able to participate in this exciting technology.

  Many teachers in my school use the Kinect as a reward for good behavior and academics. The teachers even like to play with the Kinect on there break times for exercise. Thank you once again for this generous donation to my school. The kids are so excited and enjoy playing with this machine every day.”

• Early Childhood Spark PE Curriculum Needed!

  This new curriculum has been a God send. I am able to help struggling movers while providing quality physical education lessons that are aligned to the National Physical Education Standards. My students absolutely love these lessons and look forward in participating in the next lesson. The curriculum book is a great tool when used with the matching lesson toolbox. The online subscription is very helpful when lesson planning outside the school which happen most of the time. I am very grateful that you picked my project and my students are having fun while getting a great workout and acquiring new skills.”

• Help Decorate Our Gym With Learning Tools!

  Thank you so much for your donations to my project. The posters have not only made they gym look great they have also enhanced my teaching and the students learning. The students are able to reference the posters when they need a reminder on how to check their heart rate or to see what a healthy BMI is for their gender, age and height. The motivational posters are beautiful with very inspiring words to help keep my students motivated! The students love walking around they gym reading them all and it is so simple to incorporate then into my lessons on fitness, character education and movement skills.”

  I was very excited when I opened my e-mail and saw that this project got funded as well. My program is in need of a lot of basic Physical Education equipment this project is very much needed! I have hula hoops on the way and now I will be able to transform them into targets for my students to learn and practice different ways of throwing.”

• My PE Students Need More Equipment Part Two

  I was very excited when I opened my e-mail and saw that this project got funded. My program is in need of a lot of basic Physical Education equipment and the hula hoops and jump ropes are much needed! Thank you once again for your generosity, my students are going to be very excited to hear that there will be more equipment coming. My students will be able to have a hula hoop or jump rope during the physical activities for themselves and will not have to share between two other students anymore. My students like to share, however, they are going to be so excited to know that they will not have to anymore will have more time to be physically active.”

• Music Make My Class Move!

  Words cannot express our gratitude toward your generous donations. Through the boom box and IPod I have been able to expand movement in my gymnasium. I have been able to use a variety of music that is appropriate from grades K-5 which is a great motivator to get my most unmotivated students moving. Music has also been a great help as stop and start signals in a big gym with a large amount of students, it definitely beats using a whistle. Once again I would like to thank everyone for their generosity!”

• Keeping Track of Our Movements!

  I can't even explain the impact you have had on my students. My students are now able to also see how much they move in Physical Education through these new pedometers. I was able to add fun physical activities to my fitness unit by further motivating my students to move.The donations that you have made to my students have been a God Send and my students and I greatly appreciate your generosity.
