My Students Don't Want to Stop Moving!
Funded Jul 13, 2020Words can not express how grateful my students and I are for your generosity. The pedometers are a great way to hold students accountable for their effort in class. Students are able to see instantly whether or not they need to work harder or not by how many steps they have done. The pedometers have been a great motivator and my students absolutely love them.
Over the years most of my equipment has either worn out or broke due to daily use by hundreds of students. For example, most of the balls I had been broken, my parachute has many holes and countless other pieces of equipment have been unusable. My students light up with pure joy when they saw all the many new pieces of equipment and I am now able to provide my students with a comprehensive physical education program.
I was in dire need of a new laptop to teach my remote students and we are so happy that I was able to upgrade my device for a smooth and efficient learning experience.”

PE Equipment For My Six Hundred Students!
Funded Feb 20, 2017My students were so happy that they got new basketballs to use in physical education class and recess. For a while they were using playground balls which is not ideal for learning skills such as dribbling and shooting.
When I showed them the spinning plates they thought it was so cool that a plate can spin on such a thin stick. At first they were having trouble with learning the skill, however, over time they got the hang of it and enjoyed the fact that they mastered a new skill.
Thank you so much for your kind and generous gifts to my school and students. The equipment will be used by thousands of students throughout the years.”

My Students Need Fitness Equipment!
Funded Nov 6, 2015The Students really enjoyed all the stations that I was able to make using the fitness cards and equipment. They were easily able to learn more about the components of Health-Related Fitness which is Body Mass Index, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility and Cardiovascular Endurance.
They were impressed by the station cards and I and my students were impressed that we were able to use a dry erase marker to create my our own Fitness and Skill stations. This equipment will be enjoyed for many years to come!”

My Students Need Physical Education Equipment
Funded Dec 30, 2015The bean bag have been an awesome addition to the Physical Education Program. Students have been learning how to throw and catch with out the fear of getting hurt. My students have also used them for various cooperation activities and all throughout or manipulative unit where they learned balance, space and juggling.
My students were thrilled with these bean bags and loved how they felt. We discussed the bean bags textures, colors and also wondered what exactly was in them! I loved them so much I will be making a project for more in the near future!”

My Students Need Physical Education Equipment Part 2
Funded Dec 29, 2015The Jump Ropes have been great for teaching my students the skill of jump-roping. These ropes are amazing because they don't sting the students if they didn't clear the rope when jumping. They are also amazing in the fact that they do not tangle which makes the super easy to travel from the gym to they yard and for storage.
When my students saw the jump ropes they were so excited to learn how to use them. They came in very handy during the fitness and jumping units as well as warm-ups prior to the day's lesson!”

My Students Want To Learn Basketball And Baseball Skills!
Funded Nov 17, 2014You had to see the face of my little ones when they saw the size of these basketballs! They are the perfect size for their little hands. They are now learning how to bounce the ball with two hands and once they get comfortable they will be able to use one hand. I can't wait until I cant teach them how to dribble these mini basketballs. Learning these skills at such a young age is so important because in the primary grades is where they build their foundation for movement and many motor skills!
Once again,
Thank You for your generosity to my students!”

Funded May 6, 2014The students absolutely love using the Kinect and it was made possible by using the projectors that was donated to my school. The kinect is a fun way to exercise while playing a video game. Many of my students don't have this technology at home so it is a real treat when they are able to participate in this exciting technology.
Many teachers in my school use the Kinect as a reward for good behavior and academics. The teachers even like to play with the Kinect on there break times for exercise. Thank you once again for this generous donation to my school. The kids are so excited and enjoy playing with this machine every day.”
