    This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The math manipulatives you have donated have helped my students understand the concepts of many math topics taught throughout the school year. We were able to review place value, addition along with subtraction, fractions, multiplication as well as area and perimeter. Future classes will also be able to benefit from the materials you donated.

    Our school district is currently facing budget cuts, so without your help, my students wouldn't have these wonderful resources. Building a firm foundation of number sense is important, it will help students understand other important math concepts in in the future. The literature will also help them to learn about math & science in a new and exciting way. We will implement the literature into our reading curriculum as well as incorporate it into our science and social curriculum. By doing so, I will create well a balanced unit of study. Finally, the expanded knowledge will allow my students to combine what they learned into their own projects while applying the Engineering Process.
