  • Table to Tag Team

    Thank you so much for donating to our project. We are so appreciative towards you and your generosity. While our classroom was a very engaging learning environment, it lacked the ability for students to collaborate with one another. Since we had 32 students in the class, we really benefitted from adding a table to our room.

    Students have used the table during small group instruction where they worked with me. They also used it to work together with their peers while playing math games, peer editing writing samples or even while reading books.

    This table will remain in our room for years to come and will play a huge role in the way we involve in team work. Thank you once again for donating and providing us a very valuable addition to our room.”

    My students were thrilled when they saw the materials we received thanks to your donations. As a teacher of 32 second graders, I'm big on instilling independence. These materials helped me do just that!

    With the organizer and paper tray, our writing center is organized and accessible. Everything has a place and students are learning to care for our classroom supplies.

    In addition, these wonderful second graders are becoming independent writers. They know how to choose paper that meets their writing needs, find editing pens and also how to find the tools they need to aid them in the writing process. I cannot thank you enough for your support!”

We are requesting a teaching easel which is an essential tool for any primary level classroom. Because 60% of my students are English Language Learners, this will especially benefit them because I will be able to share more visual aids. Having an easel is also very beneficial during small group instruction because I can work with a smaller group and allow them to share ideas and their own work with one another. My style of teaching is very student centered and interactive and therefore an easel is the perfect tool to allow students to engage and showcase their creativity with one another. In addition, we engage in read alouds and interactive writing daily and an easel would allow me to share vocabulary words, concepts, display pictures and text and also store books, markers and other supplies on the bottom.
