Let's Get Carted Away with Learning!
Funded Nov 10, 2021My students and I were so excited to receive deliveries of big boxes filled with all of your wonderful donations. Two of those boxes contained all the parts for our new all-purpose teaching cart. This cart makes it so convenient for us to transport our learning materials around the classroom and even outside when the weather is nice. You will see from the posted pictures the multitude of learning materials this cart is able to hold.
You also contributed to a kid-size equipment cart, though this item was unfortunately no longer available through the vendor I had selected. However, we were able to use the funds for this cart towards other items that were sorely needed for our classroom including clear containers to help us keep our materials organized, as well as several packages of laminating sheets which we use to preserve and memorialize all of our wonderful student work.
We are so very thankful for you and your support of our classroom!”

Funded Aug 31, 2020Thank you so much for supporting early childhood education and more specifically, my project which is helping so many at-risk children during this unprecedented pandemic. My class has been learning 100% remotely and has had limited access to technology so desperately needed.
Because of your generosity, I have been able to provide many copies of educational supports, including homework, practice sheets and alphabet charts, to my students who do not have printers at home. They now have more access to critical tools that will aid them in developing academic and fine motor skills needed at this critical age.
I am very grateful for your support. Thank you so much!”

Funded Aug 7, 2020Thank you so much for supporting my project! During these unprecedented times, all students at my school have been learning 100% remotely from their homes. This online model has been very challenging as we rely more on technology than ever before to bring curriculum to life.
Because of your generosity, we received a document camera, which allows me to read books to my preschoolers, teach writing, literacy, math, and science - all in real time. They can get a clear, close-up view of texts and other teaching materials just as if they were still in the classroom.
My students, their parents, and I are extremely grateful for your continued support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

Mrs. Potter

Funded Nov 9, 2019Thank you so much for providing our classroom with a brand new laminating machine and laminating sheets! My students were so excited when our special package arrived!
We have been making such great use out of your gift. For Valentine's Day, the students made book markers, which we laminated, for their families. They have been creating art work which they will be able to preserve for years to come. We have also been able to laminate flashcards for letters, words, and numbers; students love reviewing the cards with their teachers and classmates.
Your generous donations are greatly appreciated and are being used directly by students to enrich their education. Thank you so much!”

Hands-On Fun for Fine Motor Development
Funded Aug 27, 2019Thanks to you, my students experienced Christmas several months early! They were so excited to open and examine your wonderful boxes of colorful arts and crafts materials among other goodies! They couldn't wait to get started on all the projects that were in store for them.
As you can see from the photographs, they have been hard at work developing their fine motor skills in fun and creative ways. While making all of these projects, they are expanding their creativity and imagination, improving their coordination and precision manipulating small objects, learning to use everyday materials like glue, and integrating their letter recognition and number sense skills into a variety of activities.
We are very grateful to you for your generosity and support. You are positively and directly impacting the growth and progress of many wonderful and deserving children!”

An Organized Classroom Is A Happy Classroom
Funded Apr 16, 2019Thank you very much for being so generous with your support! Thanks to you, my preschool students have a much more neat and organized classroom with the sturdy, high-quality, clear containers you provided.
The children are learning to sort objects (toys, manipulatives, and supplies) into the correct containers and to return them to their designated locations. Developing these skills are teaching them important life skills that will carry them through their entire lives.
We are very grateful to you for being so kind and generous!”

Funded Dec 5, 2018Thank you very much for supporting our early childhood education classroom! Your generous donations have made it possible for my students to have access to a variety of quality art supplies and materials.
As you can see from some of the photos, they have already started to use the materials you provided, including construction paper, tissue paper, and stamp ink. With these materials, their creativity has been growing. It was their own idea to make a rainbow with the beautiful tissue paper. They also decided to use the paper squares to create a house!
Aside from expanding their creativity, the art supplies you gifted us has been helping my students develop their fine motor skills. These skills are getting them ready for the writing skills they will need for kindergarten next year.
Thank you again for all that you have done for us!”

Classroom Management for Early Childhood Education
Funded Nov 27, 2018Thank you for your incredibly generous donations to our project! My class so was excited to see the boxes full of stickers and Treasure Box prizes that just arrived! These items help so much to motivate the students to follow classroom and school rules, as they know they are working towards fun prizes for a job well done.
I know that you could have chosen to donate to many other worthy projects, so the fact that you chose to support mine makes me even more grateful. Your contribution will go far to help with our classroom management and teaching the children to be responsible members of the community.
Thank you again and we wish you a happy holiday season!”

Music Education for Preschoolers
Funded Dec 11, 2017Thank you for making my class feel like ROCK STARS! We are all so excited about our new guitar, accessories, and music books!
Numerous research studies have demonstrated the importance that music plays in early childhood development. It helps children develop their language and literacy skills, social-emotional skills, and so much more! Through music, our budding scholars are learning to recognize letters, letter sounds, shapes, numbers, and other invaluable foundational skills.
Thank you for investing in the future of these children. Thank you also for bringing the joy of music into their lives. We could not have done it without your support!”

Enhancing the Early Childhood Experience
Funded Dec 27, 2017My students were so excited to receive their numerous packages of materials for our classroom! They were filled with anticipation and joy as each item was revealed to them.
Because of your generous donation and support, we are well-stocked with essential items that we use on a daily basis. The two trash bins replace very old ones that were broken in places and falling apart. The laminating sheets will be used to preserve high-frequency words and pictures displayed around the classroom with the help of the Velcro you provided, as well as preserve the hard work of our students. The Treasure Chest prizes help the children remain motivated to do their very best while they earn points for goals achieved. The individual white boards help them learn to properly form letters as they develop their ability to write their names. The storage boxes will help keep their blocks and other educational toys organized and easily accessible to them.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our classroom. Your dedication to early childhood education will be far-reaching as these children develop into high-achieving students now and in the future.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Potter
