Help Ms. Volini and Ms. Hansen Build Their Sensory Suite!
Funded Nov 26, 2019We can't thank you enough for your generosity!!! When our autistic students need to improve their focusing and attention skills, we use the sensory tiles and bean bag chair to get them more relaxed and less frustrated. Our students are mesmerized by the sensory tiles and love pressing on them to see the colorful liquid flowing. They also encourage sensory integration and fine motor skills.
The bean bag chair was a perfect addition to our sensory suite!!! These new items have been of great use to our classroom.
Thanks again for supporting my classroom and students!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Volini
Help Ms. Volini and Ms. Hansen Build Their Sensory Suite!
Funded Aug 11, 2019Thank you so much for all of your generous donations. Our students were thrilled to see our newest sensory toys. Our students are now more relaxed, calm and less frustrated while at school. These sensory toys
help them with their sensory processing disorder by engaging their touch, smell,
sight, taste, hearing, and movement.
They help create a warm and natural environment when our students are craving sensory input during the school day. Our students have shown improvement in their behaviors and now have an outlet when they're experiencing sensory overload. These sensory products have been amazing!!!
We're truly grateful for your generosity. Thank you so much!”

Ms. Volini
My Special Education Class Needs iPads!
Funded Dec 11, 2018On behalf of my class and I, I wanted to give a huge thank you to all of my donors. Not only have these iPad's enhanced student learning in my class, but they have been an exciting and motivating resource for my students. I have incorporated the iPad's into many of my lessons. My students learn best with the use of visuals, so having these iPad's in the class has made it easy to incorporate visuals into my lessons.
My students also love all of the fun and interactive games that we have used with our lessons. So far we have used the iPad's in reading, math, and science lessons. Technology devices like these are limited in the school so having our own classroom iPad's has enhanced learning in our room!
I look forward to the increased progress I know my students will make with their new iPad's. Two of my students, Juan and Aloenzo, have recently started making their own writing pieces. Since they need a lot of visual support, they each used one of our classroom iPad's. They are extremely happy with the new addition of technology in our room! I truly appreciate each and every donor that made this possible. Without all of your generous donations, this wouldn't have been possible.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Volini
