  • Help Restock Basic School Supplies!

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

I am truly grateful for your most generous donations that brought my classroom projects to life for my little first graders. If only you all could see their priceless facial expressions when all the Amazon boxes arrived to the classroom. My first graders were jumping for joy and asking what's in all the boxes! I opened the boxes along with the students and they cheered with everything they received because of your donations.

The students were amazed with their LOVE art project using the crayons and glue. The little charms to make personalized name tags for family gifts were greatly appreciated. My class and I are so excited for all the projects we have to look forward to with all the materials.

Again, with much thanks for all your thoughtfulness and generous donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Iopa

  • New Normal Classroom Life

    Funded Oct 29, 2022

Thank you very much for giving my students this experience with all your most generous donations. I have to share with all of you the moment the huge Amazon boxes were delivered to the classroom, the boxes kept coming in one after another, and getting stacked one on top of the other. The student's faces lit up, they got up from their chairs to get a closer look, and started to jump for joy. LITERALLY!!!

The students were so excited and cheered as the items were taken out of the boxes and revealed to them...reams of bright, colored paper, pink disposable masks, black disposable masks, lego sets, fidgets galore, and equipment storage cart.

The students already got his hands on the fidgets which help to calm their minds at different times during the day. The Lego sets were already used as well to introduce them to engineering. That lesson was EPIC according to the students!

Once again, thank you very much for your generous heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Iopa

  • Let’S Get Organized!

    Funded Apr 9, 2022

Thank you so very much for your kind and generous donations. The students were in complete AWE when the huge box got delivered to the classroom. So many guesses to figure out what was in the box. When the large wooden cubby was revealed, the students cheered with excitement! We immediately got to organizing their school boxes, clipboards, and calming tools pouch into each cubby. Once the organizing task was complete, the students responded with "wow", "everything is neat now", "we can see what we have", "we can find our things easily", "it looks good", and the responses went on and on!

Thank you donors for your support in this project. It was a success and hope this encourages the students to work toward being organized in other aspects of their lives.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Iopa

  • Preparing for Lift Off...

    Funded Mar 6, 2022

Thank you again for the most generous donations which funded my entire project. Your donations directly impact each student in my class. I am truly grateful for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

I wish you folks could experience the excitement from the students when all the boxes got delivered to our classroom. As I unpacked the boxes with the students, it immediately sparked their curiosity. I overheard the students trying to guess what would be in the boxes. They cheered when they saw rubber ball, agility ladder, and ankle ball jumper to add to their recess activities. The students are so eager to use the countless art supplies like the canvas boards, paint, sequins, paint brushes, colored paper, colored tape, and colored pens. When I pulled out the facial tissue boxes, the students responded with, "We definitely needed more Kleenex!" There was lots of jumping and clapping from the students when I revealed all the different kinds of colorful fidgits. I can only assume the same kind of reaction when they see the huge box of Legos.

I have many classroom projects for the students using the materials that was received:

    1. Creating a Mother's Day gift and other artwork using the canvas boards and art supplies

    2. Learning about the Engineering Process using Legos

    3. Introducing different physical skills during recess using the play/sports equipment

    4. Instilling organizational skills from a young age using containers, carts, and paper organizer

Thank you again for making all this possible for my students with your kind and generous donations.”

  • Let Calmness Pour Into Our Classroom

    Funded Oct 26, 2021

Thank you very much for bringing our class project, "Let Calmness Pour Into Our Classroom" to life! The students and I are incredibly grateful to all of you. The students were full of excitement when they got their pouches complete with a squishy animal, snake-like manipulative, and pop it. They immediately got to using it while sharing how happy they were with the calming tools. They've been using it before school starts, after recess, and after lunch. It's been the perfect way to calm their bodies before the classroom instruction begins. I can't wait to add the blue, yellow, & green color scheme to the classroom using the bulletin board paper. The final touches will be student's work displayed in the plastic sleeves all around the classroom. Thank you again for your generous donations which made all this possible!!!”

  • Creating a Safe and Fun Learning Environment!

    Funded Aug 6, 2021

A heartfelt thank you for funding my "Creating a Safe and Fun Learning Environment" project. Having the air purifiers in my classroom is so reassuring for my unvaccinated students because they do not have that choice yet to get vaccinated. The looks on my students faces when I handed them their own Lego packs to keep at their desks was PRICELESS!!!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to receive all the materials for my students during a time when there is still so much uncertainty. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Iopa

Students were welcomed onto campus for a brand new school year! My students were happy and excited to be in the classroom, but at the same time felt nervous and scared. I'd like to create a learning space that will "Let Calmness Pour Into Our Classroom"! To create a calm feeling in the classroom, I'd like to use blue, yellow, and green bulletin board paper on the walls along with pouches to display the student's work. I also want to provide each student with their very own individual pouch of fidget gadgets, sensory toys, and small manipulatives to calm their minds to focus on learning. Please help bring my project to life!
