Classroom Organization
Funded Sep 18, 2024I want to thank you for your incredible generosity in supporting our classroom organization project. Your contributions provided us with labels, bins, desk organization, chair pockets, and other organizational tools that have transformed our learning space!
With the new labels and bins, we've been able to categorize supplies, books, and learning materials more effectively. For example, our classroom library is now color-coded by genre, and students can easily find their favorite books. Additionally, art supplies are neatly stored and labeled, making it simple for students to access what they need for creative projects without wasting time searching for materials.
Your support has had a tremendous impact on our classroom environment, and I can't thank you enough for helping create a space where students can focus, thrive, and take ownership of their learning.”

Funded Aug 7, 2024The indoor recess games have transformed our classroom! We use the games during rainy or cold weather days, giving students a chance to enjoy their break time in a fun and engaging way while staying active indoors. Students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities that promote teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity, such as board games, building sets, and strategy puzzles.
One memorable moment was when we introduced the cooperative board games. The students worked together in small groups, cheering each other on and discussing strategies. They learned how to communicate effectively and share ideas. This spontaneous teamwork session turned into a valuable lesson on collaboration and positive social interactions—skills they will carry beyond the classroom.
When I first unveiled the new games, the students' faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They were immediately drawn to the bright colors and the variety of options. Some students couldn't wait to open the boxes and start playing, while others carefully explored each item, discussing which game they should try first. It was amazing to see their genuine enthusiasm and eagerness to learn through play!
Thank you again! We love it.”

Tokens of Achievement: Funding Our Classroom Store
Funded May 8, 2024We are deeply grateful for your generous contributions, which have allowed us to bring the token economy behavioral system to life in our classroom. With the new resources, we have been able to create a dynamic environment where students earn tokens for positive behavior, participation, and academic achievement, which they can exchange for tangible rewards. One of the most exciting moments was during a recent project where students worked collaboratively on a group presentation. As they demonstrated teamwork and perseverance, they eagerly accumulated tokens, which they later traded in for special supplies to enhance their presentations. The pride they felt in their work was palpable, and the project became a highlight of the school year, thanks to your support.
When our students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They were eager to understand how the token system worked and what rewards they could earn. This immediate engagement has translated into increased motivation and a more positive classroom atmosphere. Moving forward, we plan to integrate this system into an upcoming science project, where students will earn tokens for conducting experiments, sharing findings, and helping their peers. These next steps will not only reinforce their academic skills but also continue to build the sense of responsibility and community that your donation has helped foster. Your contribution has truly made a lasting difference in our classroom, and we are thrilled to continue this journey with your support.”

Funded Apr 2, 2024First and foremost, I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. My student's social-emotional well-being is a high priority in my classroom. Many of my students have to deal with a lot of trauma, and I try my best to make my room as welcoming, warm, and comfortable as possible.
Second, my students are loving the new materials. They were all excited to watch me open the boxes and explain what each item was used for and why it's important to use it. Many of them have already utilized the calm down corner, even if it's only the stress ball. The materials are set up in the classroom in a nice spot next to the window and our bookshelf carousel. If someone needs a moment alone, they can go sit on the beanbag, cover up with the blanket, and read a book to help regulate and calm them down.
Lastly, these materials are going to be able to be used for a long time with this year's students as well as next year's students. Students can use the corner any time they need to. Eventually, I would like to expand my calming materials such as getting a class set of certain items so I don't have to pick and choose a few people to use them at a time.
Thank you again for your support and contribution to this project. All of us in Third Grade are grateful to you.”

Hands-On Science and Math
Funded Oct 10, 2022You have no idea how much my students have enjoyed using the materials that have been purchased for them. Recently, we were learning about fossils in our science class. My students were able to use the fossil bricks and the mineral, rock, and fossil kit to dig for their own fossils. They were also able to make their own fossils which they LOVED doing.
When I first told my students what we were going to be doing, their eyes lit up. They had such a fun reaction to learning about where you could find fossils, and the different fossils they found in their fossil brick. As they looked at each one, they used magnifying glasses to really see each one and they were mesmerized. The best part, they got to take them home! And that made them even more excited.
Another thing that they were able to do from this order was play with magnets. They got to play with, experiment with, and explore what magnets do and how they can repel or attract one another. I also put some iron powder in petri dishes and they used magnets to see how the powder would react.
In the coming weeks, we are going to be working on geometric shapes and the boxes that were purchased are going to be great!
We appreciate everything you have done for us this year!”

Funded Aug 9, 2022My students LOVE their flexible seating options in the classroom. They are able to be comfortable while doing their classwork. I have also seen that students that are using the flexible options are focusing better on their assignments. They are able to wiggle, move, and rock without getting in trouble and it doesn't confine them to a small area as their regular chairs would.
When the materials came in, students were so excited to open the boxes with me. Their faces lit up as we talked about the different options we now have instead of just the plastic chair and the floor.
As students are using their flexible seating, they are learning. Now, they can feel comfortable while learning and they LOVE doing it. I am so excited to see how much they grow this year by having the opportunity to wiggle, rock, and have comfort in my classroom. Thank you so much for everything.”
