ABCDEFG, These Tubs Are What We Need
Funded Jan 1, 2015When my students received the alphabet tubs that you donated to our classroom, they were very excited. My students are using the alphabet tubs in a daily basis, and it's helping them with language acquisition. They are learning new vocabulary words, descriptive words and initial letter when they have to name the items in the tubs. As mentioned before, my students are English Language Learners, and these alphabet tubs are helping them a lot. I am very thankful with your donation to my class. My students are not only having fun playing this game, but also learning new words everyday.”

iPad for Kindergarteners
Funded Mar 16, 2014Thank you for your donation to our class. My children are very excited about having an Ipad in the classroom. Now they have the opportunity to visit literacy sites to learn more English. Also these sites are helping them to learn reading and writing as well as mathematics. I truly believe children need to have more technology in the classroom, and having this Ipad in my classroom will help my English Language Learners a great deal. Their faces are priceless when they discover they can read a new word or read a new book from the sites they can access with their mini Ipad.”

Funded Oct 8, 2013I want to thank you so much for the resources my students received from your donation. My students were so thrilled when they saw the new books they will be using after binding them. They love when we make our books and we put together all resources in books form. They know how to handle the books made easily instead of working with spared sheets.
Before having our binding machine in the classroom, we used to have many loose sheets in folders. It was so difficult to keep up together all these sheets. Now with the binding machine, my students love to go over their books. They also love the many new books we are making for our classroom.
Now is so much easier to hand in classroom projects which involved handouts. Instead of having an unorganized folder filled with papers, now we have books made for each student. The books are also personalized and give my students ownership of their work. Thank you for helping me and my students with keeping our work more organized.”

Extra, Extra, Our Class Needs Important Supplies!
Funded Dec 28, 2010Dear Donors:
Thank you for your generosity. My students are very happy to use the materials donated to our classroom. Reading time is now devoted to reading, not to change old plastic bags for new one. The sturdy reading bags my students are using now is helping them to concentrate on reading only. They are also very proud to show their reading bags when a visitor steps in our classroom.
When my students are called for reading time to the meeting area, they get their reading bags and go straight to the meeting area. Before they used to have weak and ugly looking reading bags and we used to waste a lot of time to get organized. They get very excited when it's reading time because the reading bags help them keep their books organize.
Once again, thank you for sponsoring this important project!”

Funded Feb 3, 2009I am very happy that my students could count on you for getting their science center together. Now they are having hands-on activities that they could not do before. Your donation to my classroom is very important for my current students and future students. Students in my classroom are using more science language and that is very important for them to continue developing their English language. They are also more interested in science and writing and illustrating their science observations
My students are very excited to visit the science center and use the microscope and all the manipulative donated by you. They are very happy that now they have a greenhouse in the classroom. As we all now our economy is having a very negative impact on our children's education, but I am very grateful that there is people like you who care about children's education.
Thank you for your very important donation, without your help my students would never be able to have all the science materials they now have. ”
