Help Me Concentrate
Funded Feb 8, 2022My name is Iliana San Martin, and I am the math teacher at Sports Leadership and Management Charter School in Miami. This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my school and students. Our school is currently facing a budget shortage, so without your help, my students would never have had these vital resources. For these low-income students, it is one of the most important indicators of continued academic success.
As a public school teacher, I feel like it is my duty to provide my students with the very best educational experience that I can. As math education teacher, I really try and aim in on things that will have a positive impact on my students' learning while keeping their concentration. Therefore, I am so very thankful to Donors Choose for donating the funds needed to buy the headphones my students needed to help them focus and concentrate on their online assignments. You selflessly gave me and my school in Little Havana, Florida enough money to buy what I need for my students.
Thank you, for your support and generosity. It will be wonderful to see the impact of your gift in my classroom.
As a math teacher, I am so happy to be able to provide up-to-date resources to my students. It is all in thanks to donors like you”
With gratitude,
Ms. San Martin

Thank you, for your support and generosity. It has been so wonderful to see the impact of your gift in my classroom. My students think it's amazing to have been given headphones to use in our classroom. The great thing is students can concentrate in their i-Ready Math lessons which helps them tremendously improve in both Math and Reading subject areas. I think that having this technology in our classroom is exactly what is expected of today's students. They can manage their independent learning time. These headphones are used for a variety of subjects, including our struggling reader program, our end-of-the-year testing, computer-based learning, or simply to block out noise that may irritate or frustrate some of our special education students.
