  • Keeping Virtual "Learning"

    My students and I want to say Thank you. Thank you for the generous donation to my class education. This really means a lot that we have the right resources that will help further their learning and will improve their reading, writing, and math skills. As we received the boxes with all the materials, and I explained that they would each receive individually their own materials they were over the moon. The whiteboards are a great use when we practice writing words and for math. The hundred chart board is being used daily, as we count and practice writing the numbers. The goal was to keep my students learning and we reached it. Thank you”

  • Back to School 2020 Edition

    Even though we are in such a difficult time, my students continue to show a strong desire to learn, and this is due to the tremendous support I have received from all the wonderful donors. Thank you so much for assisting our class and providing my students with their very own resources. When they each received their own pencil box with their names on it, they were overjoyed. While they open their boxes to see their crayons, glue earbuds, and other goodies, it was like Christmas. Thank you once again for all your support.”

  • Different Strategies

    Thank you so much for the generous donations to help me give my students a wonderful experience by learning different strategies while we are still on distanced learning. The day the boxes arrived with the materials I was so happy to share the news with my students. I gathered them up and began to get the materials ready to have them dropped off. Using the ten frame is a big help. My students need hands-on and visual aides to understand how to use the counters to make ten when adding. The journals are a daily use, when we do write students practice writing sentences and show illustration and they love it. While using the materials virtually my students are engaged. I find different ways to use the fishing game as we practice our sight words. They have fun and are engaging and participating while learning on-line. During such a difficult time, my students continue to show interest in learning and it is from all the support I have received. Thank you all again for your help in getting these materials into the hands of my first graders!”

Students will have water and snacks incase they need a pick me up and will be rewarded a little candy when they listen and stay on task. We have students from different grade levels that join our group and they all have a different learning disability, this will help them achieve their academic goals.

About my class
