Non-Fiction Book Worms

Thank you so much for your generous donations. We have been enjoying the books since their arrival. The students have published "All About Books" after reading and researching their animals in the books. They worked in small groups as well as in pairs students also learned about biographies through the books about Abraham Lincoln. My students love reading non-fiction books and this donation has helped replenish my library with bright, visually enticing and interesting books. They will continue to use these books to further work in small groups, do research, learn non-fiction traits and use them as mentor texts for their writing pieces, as well as partner/buddy reading and whole class instruction.
