• Amazing Students in Need of Sensory Support

• Project-Based Learning Through Visual Arts

  Thank you so much for all of your generous donations. My students are enjoying working with all of the materials so far very much. Being able to express their thought and what they have learned through a different medium other than writing is be a big benefit for my class.

  We have used the paintbrushes to help us create Mother's Day gifts, model magic to build animals from our animal unit, and we are looking forward to using the pots to plant flowers from seeds for our plant unit. The beauty is that many other students that will be coming to my class in future years will also benefit from these materials.

• Distance Learning for My Special Needs Students

  I am extremely humbled for your generous donation to my classroom. I have been implementing the use of the iPad for remote learning and my students love it. My students need a more interactive and specialized approach to instruction, and the iPad has helped meet that need. I am able to share my screen and explicitly teach specific concepts, play interactive games together with my students, show them how to solve mathematical equations, and ultimately have a more engaging experience remotely. I can't wait to use it once we are back in the classroom next year in small group instruction and 1:1 conferencing.

The children have been using all of the great materials on a daily basis before we had to transition into remote learning. We used them during science and math lessons, during STEM activities and also learning how to work together in groups. All of your support means so much to us. • Wiggling in Wobble Chairs to Stay Focused!

  Funded Jan 16, 2018

  I can not thank you enough for your generous donations. We were all so excited to get the flexible seating. It was a big day when we received them and the students couldn't wait to open the boxes.

  Wobble chairs are providing the same core training of an exercise ball but applied to a kid's stool which is less distracting and takes up less space. The bands and straps are helping certain students that need support in this area but do not necessarily need a wobble chair. These tools are helping keep my students engaged in their work.

  This has been an amazing addition to our classroom and class 225/B thanks all of you a million times over!”

• Our Learning Will Be on FIRE With Tablets!

  I can not thank you enough for your generous donations. We are all so excited to have the fire tablets in our classroom. It was a big day when we received them and the students couldn't wait to open the boxes.

  We have been using them on a daily basis. We use them for small group instruction, during guided reading, sometimes early finishers can go on them too. Students have been using them to read and listen to books of their interest as well as playing phonics and math games to reinforce their skills.

  This has been an amazing addition to our classroom and class 225/B thanks all of you a million times over!”
