Thank you so much for your support of our classroom. It means a lot to know that there are people in the world who are involved in improving the quality of education and care students receive.

Since our lunch is so early we always have a snack. While some students are fortunate enough to bring a snack, or even remember to bring one, others are not. Regardless of whether a child is able to or not, they know that they will not only get a snack, but get to pick from many choices provided from this grant.

Not only does it ease pressure from the students, but also from me as well. Not having to purchase snacks each week creates less of a burden on me, and I can think and concern myself with other task that are required of my job.

Thank you for all your help again! Our class really appreciates it!”

  • Remarkable Resources

    Funded May 9, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity and consideration in donating to my classroom. I was able to purchase resources for end of the year activities that my students could enjoy. Not only was I able to make purchases for this past school year, I had some left over for this upcoming school year. In times where I would have to pay out of pocket, I'm glad to know there are people in the world who are willing to help teachers in their classrooms with items that all students would benefit from. Thank you again, you were such a blessing!”

Thank you so much for your love and support of our classroom. Whether you are familiar with my students and I or not, it means a lot to know that there are people who are willing to give to classrooms which benefits the students in helping them to succeed. With the resources purchased we were able to replenish our coloring utensils, copy paper, and glue which I know will last us the rest of the year, and will benefits students I get next year. Knowing that I don't have to pay out of pocket for the things we need is a blessing and truly appreciated.”

  • Energy Booster

    Funded Feb 23, 2024

Thank you so much for all your help and support in giving my students snacks. We have so much to get done in the day, and on top of that our school days starts at 7, and their lunch isn't until 12:20, which is closer to the end of school. It's one less worry being able to provide a snack to students who aren't able to bring one. I think it also helps that they also don't have to worry about not having something to eat, so that they won't be hungry and have to wait until lunch. Thank you again, and it means the world!”

  • Oh The Places You Can Go.....In the Classroom!

    Funded Feb 13, 2023

Thank you so much for your support of our classroom. Being in kindergarten is so much fun, and with your help I was able to make the last few weeks of the school year memorable. We had many different themed days, and the students were able to dress up and have something to look forward to each day. With your donations I was able to go above and beyond what I would've been able to do on my own. My students will remember their kindergarten year because of you! We truly appreciate your support, and your dedication to helping classrooms be prepared in a variety of ways.”

  • Energy Booster

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

Thank you so much to everyone who was able to donate and gift my students with one less worry. Your generosity allows all of my students to have a snack each day, that will give them the energy they need until lunch time. Since we have one the latest lunches, my students are hungry and I know providing them with a snack will help them to focus more on the content being taught than the hunger in their bellies. My students are very grateful and know that no matter what the day looks like they can always count on a snack.

    Thank you again!”

  • End of the Year Festivities!

    Funded May 11, 2023

As we closed out the school year my students had a blast! We had many fun themed days and activities to celebrate our completion of the school year. The craft supplies like the paintbrushes, bead making materials and paint were all used for our craft day which the students enjoyed. We had extra snacks that went into our snack bin and for our end of the year celebration. We also received glow sticks and light bulbs for our glow day, and the students especially loved our glow in the dark dance party. Thank you so much for your generous donation and how you have helped to bring my vision to life. Your donation allowed me to end the year with my students on a high note, ready for a much needed break so we can start preparing for the new school year.”

  • Hard to Say Goodbye

    Funded Feb 13, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity and support of our classroom. While my students have received the books, I know they are going to be so excited to get them. Your donations allowed me to purchase 24 books for my students gift for completing kindergarten. Inside this book my assistant and I will write a note as we send them on to first grade. This will be memorable and something they can take with them throughout the years. Also with your donations we were able to get a backdrop for our end of the year ceremony, which will add to the presentation of the graduation. Thank you so much for your help, it means the world that there are people in the world who are supportive of teachers and students.”

  • Sticking to the Basics!

    Funded Jan 19, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity. It means the world that there are those in and outside our community that are willing to support our classroom. Your donations allowed us to have many different read alouds for the month of February. I was also able to provide a snack each day for students who didn't have one. This was very beneficial, so I did not have to go out and them myself. A lot of the school supplies like laminating sheets, stapler, pencil sharpener are perfect for every day use, and they get used often. The students loved all of our goodies, and they helped to take care of the needs they have before beginning instruction. Thank you again, you are appreciated!”

I am always looking for ways to encourage my students to read, and I think implementing Flashlight Friday is the perfect way. On Friday's, the lights will go out, the students pick a spot and will take time to read from a book. The projector will allow for a more interesting experience, and the books will be a great addition to my classroom. Reading is considered boring for a lot of students, however I think this project will change their mind. Being able to sit in the dark (with dim/ low lighting) and read any book they want....What a treat!!
