I am always looking for ways to encourage my students to read, and I think implementing Flashlight Friday is the perfect way. On Friday's, the lights will go out, the students pick a spot and will take time to read from a book. The projector will allow for a more interesting experience, and the books will be a great addition to my classroom. Reading is considered boring for a lot of students, however I think this project will change their mind. Being able to sit in the dark (with dim/ low lighting) and read any book they want....What a treat!!
