Help Us Be Wonderful Readers and Writers
Funded Apr 26, 2015I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank for your extremely generous donation to our classroom. The materials you have donated are being used during small group instruction and one-on-one instruction on a daily basis. In addition to this we have been able to utilize the materials while working with related services provides such as our occupational therapist and our adaptive physical education teachers.
When we opened our new materials and introduced them to the classroom, the students were very excited to work with them. They especially enjoyed building silly sentences with the instant sentence tiles, storyteller's box, and creative writing flip-chart. The students were also excited to use the magnetic sight words during our therapy sessions with the occupational therapist and adaptive physical education teacher.
My emerging readers have been using the magnetic sight word sentence board and the flip and read sight word sentences during both small group and one on one reading and written language instruction. These materials have allowed the students to begin to improve their reading fluency and increased their motivation to actively participate in instructional activities around reading and writing. The especially enjoyed getting to make choices while building sentences using the magnetic sight word sentence board.
Again I would like to thank you, without generous donations like yours my students would not have access to high interest materials such as these. The interactive and engaging materials your donation has provided have given my students the opportunity to learn new academic skills. I can not express to you how excited they are every time we use these materials in the classroom.
Thank you again for your support. Without donors like you classrooms across the country would not have access to wonderful materials such as these.”

Mathematical Magic!
Funded Dec 31, 2014Thank for your extremely generous donation to our classroom. The materials you have donated are being used during both small group instruction and one-on-one instruction on a daily basis. My fourth graders have been using the place value practice board, place value activity kit, hands-on place value cubes and the giant magnetic place value blocks to better understand how to add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers. They have loved interacting with new materials and are beginning to demonstrate a clear understanding of place value. The place value activity kit, hands-on regrouping kit, and subtraction regrouping activity chart have allowed me introduce higher level mathematical concepts to all of my students and allowed them to be more actively engaged during instruction.
Our school's operational budget has been shrinking over the last several years and without generous donations like yours my students would never have had access to materials such as these. The interactive and engaging materials your donation has provided has given my students the opportunity to learn new academic content in a highly motivating manner. I can not tell you how engaged they are when interacting with these materials.
Thank you again for your support. Without donors like you classrooms across the country would not have access to wonderful materials such as these.”

Sensational Sensory Support
Funded Aug 31, 2012I wish to express my sincerest gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The materials your donations have funded are utilized on a daily basis. The students are extremely motivated by the materials and frequently request them while working. The tactile peanut ball is a class favorite and because of this we have been able to work on many different communication skills throughout the day.
Without your generous donation my students would not have access to such a wide variety of tools and materials. I have seen such a positive impact on my students since we started using these materials and I cannot fully express what a difference these materials have made for my students. I have had other professionals comment on the noticeable increase in my students' ability to ask for materials to help regulate their sensory systems throughout the day.
Thank you again for your generous donation, it is donors like you that make an irreplaceable impact in the classroom.”

Funded Jan 26, 2011I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for your generosity. The many different photo cards that you donated to my classroom are being used every day. Since we have received your amazing gift, we have used them daily to learn how to categorize language, to learn new vocabulary, and to engage in hands on activities.
Currently in our district budgets are being cut and without your support my students would have never had access to these resources. The students enjoy working with materials they can touch and interact with and these materials have allowed them to interact with language in a more meaningful way.
Again I would like to express my thanks and appreciation of your support.
With many thanks,
Ms. D”
