  • Voices Bring American History To Life

    Thank you for your generosity in funding my proposal. I am very excited to use "Voices of American History" in the next school year. My students are always drawn in to lessons when music is utilized. I am sure these CDs will certainly get their attention and enhance their learning experience.

    Because the Colonial Period and the American Revolution are not covered immediately upon the start of school, my students will not be using these resources until later in the fall. They will send thank-you notes when we reach these topics.

  • A "Flash"y Way to Review American History

I plan to integrate them into lessons throughout the school year as well as during the review sessions at the end of the year. My students love to listen and read out loud along with their classmates. In fact, they give up their lunch period for the opportunity to read while they eat. The book club consists of up to 30 responsible and motivated students. In middle school, reading with a small group of friends is a treat for the students.
