Several of our student-athletes do not have the funds to go out and spend $80 on a decent pair of running shoes. Many are wearing the same running shoes that they wore since they were in 7th grade! This can lead to severe injuries - shin splints, stress fractures, and plantar fasciitis. We are asking for your help in providing some of our runners with a decent pair of shoes to get them through the rest of the cross country season. The Asics and Brooks shoes, that we are hoping to get, have a longer life than most other brands. The runners might actually be able to use these shoes well into the 2017 track season.
