My students are all boys and emotionally impaired. One of their greatest loves is basketballs. I am asking for basketballs as an option for them to purchase from our class store as a behavioral incentive. I have selected books at a variety of reading levels about famous basketball players to interest them in reading (especially SILENT reading). I have also asked for hands on math manipulation tools and games to help advance skills they need more practice on. My students behavioral issues often get in the way of their learning and I am searching for ways to make school a more interesting place for them!
